Ed states some potential DLC choices.

noobde Seriously guys. Tell me your order of preference for a DLC character. Rain, Shinnok, Kenshi, Robo-smoke, or new character?

So out of the choices listed, who would you want to see as DLC? List them from 6 to 1, 6 being least wanted.

6. Tanya
5. New Character
4.Shinnok
3. Cyber Smoke
2. Kenshi
1. Rain

Personally I don't see Tanya selling very well. A new character is a gamble, considering many of the new ones from the MK:DA-MK:A era were unoriginal and bland. Shinnok would be better saved for the next game if they still go down that road, but I can see him being a decent addition, and would be interesting in 2D. Cyber Smoke could definitely sell well, and long time fans I could see liking his inclusion. Kenshi is the most interesting out of all, considering he wasn't introduced until MK:DA, but his story would fit. I would personally like to see what changes they would make to Rain, and I would think a lot of people would pay for him.

Could someone ask him (since I don't have an account and making one for just one question seems unnecessary) if bosses (Goro, Kahn) are going to be playable or not? In several interviews he said bosses will be unlockable. In the latest issue of Game Informer it is stated that Goro will not be playable.

What's it gonna be Ed? Cause this shit is pissing me off! I don't see why it is such a big deal to accurately answer this fucking question.

Why in the world would Rain be anybodies favorite character? a purple ninja who possesses water and lightning powers. Boohoo.

Out of all, I'd love to see Kenshi. From Deadly Alliance to Armageddon, he was the best new character.

Well I guess Ed wasn't lying when he said not every character would be returning because he listed Rain as DLC.

I guess this also means that smoke is staying human this time around.

but to answer the question I would like shinnok and kenshi as DLC first.

I really appreciate this after such long span of secrecy. I can't even begin to say how refreshing it is for Ed Boon to pose this opportunity.

I'd love to see all those characters (the only exception being the "new character" option).

Damn. Assuming he's not goofing on us, Rain really was that 1 percent he was talking about. I kinda thought he wouldn't take the home versions of UMK3 and MKT into consideration.

Anyway, Tanya's my choice. Like I said in the Tanya thread, I'd like to see her playing the Edenians and Kahn for suckers until she meets up with Quan and Shinnok.

2:New character (if it's the old Skarlet rumor)

No Sheeva as DLC? That's either great news or horrible news..

This is so dumb we don't know who all the charterers are and now your saying that 1% that didn't make the game was Rain,and to make matters worse we don't even know how serious he is.Following this game has been so frustrating.

When it came to gameplay I'd take Cyber every time, but I don't see them bringing back the trident and Sektor's teleport uppercut in a game that's going to be focusing on character individuality. That's Smoke's big problem: few of his moves were his. it's something I've wanted them to change for the entire time I've been into this franchise. :(
