My recommendation is to take Gavok's route and just start a faq and put it on gamefaqs. Keep a timeline of edits and credits and what not, but definately not in open air.

Trying to determine and maintain canon in an open forum is folly. For every one user who will follow the conversation and reach reasonable conclusions, there are tons of assholes who will just jump in at page 30 and say "This is stupid, Raiden and Shao Kahn are brothers! MKvDC and the movie said so!"

Actually, this is exactly the kind of thing I like to document and run into the ground on my website. I'd be interested to talk to you about how I (and FAB) can help with such a thing.

I am very impressed with all these VS pictures. Some are a little more simple than others, but, overall, each and everyone of them has so much attention to detail that its impossible not to like them.

I am particularly impressed with how gorgeous and awesome the following characters look (no order):

1) Sindel (really really impressed! probably my favorite, but, the lack of long fingernails does suck)

Jade (sexy)
Sonya (gorgeous)
Johnny Cage (fantastic)
you-know-what Sub-Zero (brilliant design)
Jax (so realistic)
Kabal (wicked)
Stryker (badass)
Smoke (woah!!)
Reptile (for the first time, I actually like his look!)

If there are 5 things I'd complain about, they would be:

1) Sindel without the long fingernails looks incomplete and weird.
2) Sheeva's eyes should have remained red-colored.
3) Shang Tsung just doesn't look as evil and amazing as he did in the past.
4) Kung Lao looks too old and kind of unattractive.
5) Everything about Quan Chi.

Quan Chi is the only one that I feel looks weak and just like a disappointment. There better be a reason why those tattoos are still there. It annoys me a lot.

That's what I'm assuming. Since we've heard nothing at all about Human Cyrax and Human Sektor being seperate characters, but we KNOW they appear in Story Mode (and are both either playable or fightable)...

I ASSUME they must be their alt costumes...

I just have no idea how their moves are going to work in that form.

And I feel like the character designs for this game are either complete failures or genuine improvements with little middle ground, but the majority I liked better in their past designs.

And I can't say this enough, but Smoke looks fucking terrible. I do not understand how some of you like his design, its beyond bad. He looks like one of those old troll dolls dressed up to be a ninja. Even his hand gesture in the VS screen is fucking retarded. He's about to do that "talk to the hand!" gesture that died in the 90's. I hope his in game model SOMEHOW looks better, but hope is very, very slim.

And Reptile's wearing an armor plated tube top. So lame.

Sinel should be old and have wrinkles IMO. Shes a COUGAR!!! (or whatever comes after a cougar)
