I don't want to see Freddy on this thing- he has enough memorabilia already,
But I wouldn't deny a sculpt of Kahn ripping Freddy out of the Dream Realm,
as seen in Freddy's vignette, could be cool.

I've been thinking lately that Kenshi's "Split Ends" fatality would be great for a statuette. He would be in the same pose as in the fatality, pushing his victim (whoever it is, could be a dummy or NPC) toward his blade, with the victim positioned right in front of the blade.

Rain doing his victory pose with little bits of rain on him and the burst body of an opponent near him from his fatality.

-Quan Chi with a glowing green skull.
-quan chi's xray with the medallion shooting a light
-Johnny cage's win pose with a small single led to represent his sparkle from his teeth.

If he was to get revenge for turning his race into two legged beasts, his diorama would still need for him to be on 2 legs to remain consistant. You can't have him getting revenge on the shokan for something they haven't done yet if he still has his horse body.

or I could just say that by killing them he returned to his former self lol

glad they are making an shao khan statue anyways i thought that a lui kang and kung lao back to back statue would be really cool

either a full body statue or just a bust that ends at the stomach it would be epic though like this

Side note: Any ETA on the voting on this thing? Given the release schedule from Syco, I'm expecting that our MKO custom won't be done until 2012.

So in light of the new thread by queve, I feel compelled to clarify something.
I think we're putting the cart before the horse here in designing a custom piece since this WHOLE THING HINGES on MKO users committing to a purchase via pre-order. Given that, the largest aspect governing the purchase will NOT be the design itself, but the price. It behooves us all to get price points from Syco since the price will vary greatly from...let's say a 10" single statue versus a 18" diorama. Hell just look at the difference between the 10" Sub-Zero ($164.99) and the 18" ($299.99). That's almost double the price...and with a single character!

Hashing about ideas for the design is fun and all but if this is really going to take shape, it's CRITICAL the price point is aproximated or I guarantee we wont see a 100 user commitment and this whole thing will be a bust.

So in short, you want the MKO community on board, we need to be informed on the price points for the specific criteria you're having us vote on. Otherwise it's a waste of time.

I think we can safely state that the price points will equal that of the current 10" statues (whether its a diorama or a single character).

We are not going for an 18" diorama or statue as we understand that the the statue needs to remain accessible for everyone.

Tyrant and I will have a word with Syco and will get back to you guys with exact specifics, for the moment, I am taking a guess and looking at a $130-$160 worth statue that might finally cost less because of our discount.

Whether the discount will apply for this or not I will also need confirmation.

I'll keep everyone posted, in the meantime, share your nominations and votes in the other thread.
