First off, win pose broken glasses replacement is classic. Actually made me chuckle. Secondly is it me or does Cage look more like Van Damme in this game than ever before?

hahah fucking A!!!! Johnny Cage is awesome and I know I'm gonna piss people off when I taunt them and use Cage. The win pose.. AMAZING! and dude I would go ape-shit if they put the 500 dollar sunglasses quote in the game somehow.

On a side note, anyone else notice at the end of the video we hear Kahn say "Johnny Cage wins..." but if you pay attention to his render, in the background, his lips don't move. I was hoping for a little more interactivity. Just like what we saw in the Extended Kratos trailer, I would have LOVED to see Kahn stand up and scream "Finish Him!"

Seeing more and more makes me want it more. I LOVED his winning pose! Still, I'd like some new footage. ;)

This might be the first game where I actually like Johnny Cage.

This stuff rebuilds the hype in me, after Kratos kicked me in the balls.

This game just bursts personality. They got Johnny spot on!

I 2nd this. I looked to see if he actually spoke too.

JC is clearly climbing positions on my list. Right now thanks to all the hype, the personality and how a close to the fans character he is that the team even created a twiter account to represent him, he could be perfectly right now my 3rd character after Subby and Kung Lao.

I have a friend that doesn't like him, I can see me beating him with JC and frustrating him with all the taunts and catch phrases.

Love how they are paying attention to personality in the characters for this game. Johnny is a douchebag alright, but I love that about him lol. "I make this look easy", awesome intro. Imagine how much of a douche you'd have to be to have your name tattooed across your chest.

The lady who said she feels like Cage is out of Jersery Shore, too true.

Nice gameplay clips, I like that kick at 1:11. I also really like that he taunts during fighting and on his fatality (not shown in this clip).

By the way, Shao Kahn seems to be in his revamped design with bone-hair slicked back helmet and not the samurai-ish MK2 helmet from the latest and supposed "new" Kahn replacement render that is on the main website. I'm assuming both looks will make the game, one will be an alt.



Definitely agree on that, I would imagine that once a fighter wins, the camera would zoom in on Shao Kahn and he would actually say "Johnny Cage Wins" or "Finish Him!" as the words display across the screen.

You can also have Shang Tsung do the same thing at the "Throne Room", but then the announcer is still Shao Kahn's voice so that probably wouldn't make sense.

I hope this is a positive sign that NRS is really making sure that each character is well defined in their own unique way(both their story/personality and how they play).
