Lady In Red needs a name. Unless, of course, she's Rain with a sex change (aka a "joke" character).

As you will read in the OP news post, there's an article where she is mentioned as Scarlet, but since the interviewer was spelling Kitana and Mileena's names wrong (Katana/Milena), Scarlet's name might be spelled with a K instead of a C, making it Skarlet. I'd go for Skarlet, seeing as that is more typical MK to replace C with a K.

Hector has confirmed that "Lady in Red" has no name just yet, or if she does he's not telling us. Might be the ONLY thing left they can keep secret, and I implore them to do so.

Does that mean that they also denied Kenshi and "Scarlet" being the first unlockable characters? There was no link to the exact article aof these two denying anything.

Oh, I'm right here. I did say I would give NRS the benefit of the doubt with Kintaro. So far that has paid off.

and I just "read" the magazine scan as well and it also says: "Could she be "Skarlett", the fabled character from Mortal Kombat II...."

Notice the "could she be" and the fact the top bar has her as "Lady In Red". Get into it. :)

After seeing the render, I can safely say Skarlett has my favorite MK9 female design.

I still think it will only be Rain and Skarlet for DLC not Kenshi.

Also do people get upset that Skarlet is an unoriginal character the same way everybody says there are too many male Ninjas?

Hold on now, where did you hear this? That's not stated anywhere in the article and I highly doubt it to be true.

I think SGC is implying that if the DLC is released so close to launch then there's a high likelihood of the DLC content actually being on the disc already. Which, if this is true, I would tend to agree with.

I get that part, I just want to know where she got the April 22nd date from as that hasn't been mentioned anywhere that I'm aware of.

Still crossing my fingers on bosses not being playable. They have BIOS and ENDINGS so it's not looking good. Hmmm Ermac and Kenshi in Tag mode could get ugly, heh.

I hope this DLC comes out fast get it out of the way for the Rain DLC
