I'm really happy they went with an updated MKDA look for Kenshi. If it isn't broken, why fix it? The armour actually seems to look like proper armour now. And I like the new hair.

Im extremely pleased with everything in this game so I didnt really miss any of the characters that missed the cut, however, I feel that Rain deserves to be in the first package of DLC more than kenshi or the red bitch. In my opinion Kenshi i just a weak copy of ermac and I never really liked his story or anything. At lest Rain was in UMK3. well...I dont really care about DLC as my all time favourite characters have all been confirmed!

Kintaro - He was "confirmed" in the files on the demo, I believe. However, I've seen talk that a lot of files were missing and maybe some added to throw people off the trail of what's true or not - Boon did mention early on that they had new ways to keep us guessing this time around, so maybe it was a red herring... or we're getting charged for content already on the disc. I wouldn't be surprised either way, and either way it's lame he's not in from the get-go.

Kenshi - Yay! Kenshi was my favorite post-MK4 character, and given his history with Shang Tsung, I always thought would be a good addition to any sort of MK remake as an earlier character. I am also interested in seeing how NRS differentiates him from Ermac.

Skarlett - Meh, not really interested. I'm not a terribly huge Rain fan, but I do think it's weak to release a character who has yet to develop an actual fanbase over a character who is practically being begged for by a rather large group of fans. Also, being the ONLY 100% new character (so far), it just seems dirty to me to release her as DLC.

Bit miffed that they're throwing Kenshi at us as a DLC, would be better if they gave us characters that were closer to the time frame this game takes place. One maybe two MK4 characters perhaps, although it seems we are getting Quan Chi I guess... But I'd love it if they threw in Meat for us as well :D

But this is also a great chance for them to drop in older call outs like a possible Hornbuckle or maybe even Blaze. Terrafaux could be a fun include as well even. Crap they could even get really retro and thow in a masked guard from Shang's island, or one of the monks from the courtyard background for shits n giggles.

As far as this supposed Smoke goes, can't judge the whole thing on just a head shot. I would certainly hope that it isn't hair we're seeing and instead actual smoke coming from his skin and that the still image simply just doesn't portray that very well.

I'm disappointed they gave Ermac the telekinetic push. That was trademark Kenshi. I imagine he'll be more sword based (As he should be), but to completely take away his telekinesis moves would be horrible.

PLEASO NOOO!! I would be dissapointed if the flawless roaster of mk trilogy is tainted with the likes of frost, daegon or shinnok. Tanya and rain would be ok though. My only petition is please never bring frost again. She is by far the most unoriginal, lame, repulsive character in mk history.

Although I do like Kenshi and think he will make a great addition. Lookin forward to Kintaro also, but as many have said, i thought he was already in the game.

Kinda disappointed about Rain and all, but the way NRS has been fucking up the latest ninja type costumes (i.e Smoke and Ermac's alt.) maybe its better they wait a bit and come up with a design less shitty.

Now someone like razer may correct me,bu i think ermac taught kenshi how to harness and use telekinesis,which was a reward for freeing ermac from kahn's control. That would make that at least after mk 3. So Kenshi probably would focus on sweet sword moves around that time.

So far all of the characters confirmed for this game are around that timeline. Kenshi tried to get on the boat for MK1, but missed it, Kintaro is the MK2 subboss and the Lady in Red is born from the rumour/glitch about Skarlett in MK2. So I see no problem in seeing them be DLC for this game.

Ermac only taught Kenshi the Telekinetic Slam. Kenshi learned telekinesis from his ancestors who spoke to him through his sword.
