The Woman in Red, and no Gene Wilder? WHAAA?
Anyways, I gotta admit...the no Rain thing is shocking (ALMOST went for a Blind Melon reference to go with the old movie reference...). I don't care for the character too much, but it seems so many people are clamoring for him.
The Woman in Red thing puzzles me. I was hoping for a little more mystery behind her. I didn't read the spoilers, but now I know for sure she is not playable in the current build.

Actually, that was her biggest problem: she brought nothing new to the table.
I loved the post-MK3 characters, but Kira wasn't one of my favorites. It's not 100% her fault; she just arrived under bad circumstances. I liked the design, though.

This DLC could EASILY be exclusive for Xbox 360 or PS3. Black Ops anyone? DLC for Black Ops arrives on Xbox 360 first and then a month or two later PS3 gets it. The fact that Sony and WB have a partnership together and PS3 is getting more stuff I wouldnt be surprised if they made a deal for DLC as well

I thought that it just gave him a daredevil like way of enhancing his senses, either way i will be happy, the appeal to me was the blind swordsman thing, the tk was a bonus.

Can someone discretely point me into the direction of these scans?

Now someone like razer may correct me,bu i think ermac taught kenshi how to harness and use telekinesis, which was a reward for freeing ermac from kahn's control. That would make that at least after mk 3. So Kenshi probably would focus on sweet sword moves around that time.

And therefore Kenshi can use telekinesis and still be a completely original character without copying any moves from Ermac. He could use telekinesis alot differently than Ermac.
It's like characters with fire powers. They don't all do exactly the same moves just because they share that power. Personally, I hope Kenshi will use his telekinesis to control his sword in wicked ways.

Darn it!! Kenshi sounds like he looks awesome! Is there a way for us to see the pictures without breaking any of the rules?

Kira had a decent design and story, but was completely creatively bankrupt in the gameplay department. She was my most hated character for a while, but I warmed up to her eventually.

That sounds awesome, spinning telekinetic katana buzzaw of death projectile ftw.

I wonder if this means we won't see Kintaro in the story mode. If that is the case, this is one major fuckin disappointment. I haven't read the spoilers so I don't know if Kintaro is in there somewhere. Can someone confirm this with a spoiler tag?

Aaand that's one check off my DLC Character list. awesome now bring me C.Smoke and Rain.
I've heard that Kenshi even has a faithful remake of his MKDA main. Great!

Lady in red may just be a redesigned version of Kira. but yeah, its retarded to DLC some characters that are already on the fucking disc to begin with. Not that I believed NRS when they said they wouldn't do that. No matter, Since these are characters I dont care about it doesn't bother me much.

Kintaro was in MKII!
Instead of exclusive shit they could have worked on a character as important as this.

No way that Lady in Red is Kira. Lady in Red appears to be quite ninja-like, and Kira was nowhere near being a ninja. Also, I would hate it if Kira suddenly became a ninja. I loved her looks and storyline in MKD.
LADY IN RED
Age: Unkown
Favorite color: Blood red.
Unlike most Mortal Kombat vixens, Skarlett sports a ninja mask instead of the veil worn by Mileena or Kitana.
While dressed for warm weather, The lady in red always comes armed with her throwing knives.
The orgins of this myserious femme fatale are unknown. Could be Skarlett, The fabled character from Mortal Kombat II, That allegedly appears after encountering a glitch when selecting between Mileena ( Who wears purple ) And Kitana ( Who wears blue )?
Or so i heard.

I didn't think we'd receive official news regarding DLC this early. Either way it's a pleasant surprise. Almost half of you who voted here had one vote for Kenshi, and he's currently the second-most desired character after Rain. I'm interested to try these characters out.

Not only that, but it would be a stretch at best in regards to her age. Kira may be too young during this time period, younger than the Lady in Red seems to be. We are probably talking early teens.
I was convinced it was Kira for a while. It took Casselman and some other member well versed in the MK story to convince me otherwise using the age arguement. It's something I really can't get past now, no matter how much I liked Kira and would love for her to return with unique moves.
