Also interesting is the fact that Prima Games updated their strategy guide's page count to 320.

With this news coming, I mean. You'd figure they accommodated for those 3.

about 4 or 5 months ago he made a tweet saying something like "Tell me the order in which you would want these characters released as DLC for most favorite to least favorite" Then he named Rain, Tanya, Cyber Smoke, Kenshi, Shinnok, or a brand new character.

My guess is that Kenshi and the New character got the most votes. Then on the gamespot interview he said "Of course there are people upset that certain characters arent in the game so we are going to rely heavily on DLC so that you know your Rains and Tanyas are represented eventually" Thats pretty much it. He NEVER said Rain would be launch day DLC. Once again everyone just assumed it

I think I heard at GDC he said DLC is where all the "Rains" would go, so he might be DLC.
Or he lied and Rain won't be in the game.

Boon NEVER EVER confirmed RAin as a character in the game.


I'm glad Kenshi's in, he's the one character of the new generation that really made an impact.

Lady in Red may become interesting.

For the people complaining that the content is already in the disc and you have to pay for it.
I have no idea how it bothers you at all.

Bro do you ever read? He said before that he would like to have rain as the first dlc character and he said in that challenge tower interview that your gonna see your favorite post mk3 characters as dlc and mention rain being one of them

Which is another thing. MvC3 had Jill and Shuma in the game already but made them DLC. In this game only Kintaro is in the actual disc while the other two are completely new. So yeah, +1 for gamers for not having to pay extra for shit already on the disc


Kintaro is still on the disc. I can't at you being such a blind fanboy. Doesn't matter if MvC3 had more fake dlc characters and costumes, the thing is MK is going the same route and charging us for fake dlc stuff.
