While I don't really disagree with this statement I would also submit that MK isn't that far off either.

I like this thread and I agree with all the people who've said we need more female fighters in the world of MK. I'm a huge fan of the female butt kickers and I happily welcome new additions.

I'm not saying make it "equal", but, please, add at least a few more melons to spice up this giant sausages invasion.

I'm very excited about most of the revealed female so far, but, hopefully there is more to come.

Nitara, Tanya, and Sareena are pretty plausible choices when you think about it.

Sheeva is still lurking in the shadows.

That new girl (Scarlet?) will most likely be playable.

Hopefully the next MK will feature a nice balance of main classics (Sonya, Mileena, Sindel), returning newbies (Nitara, Ashrah, Frost, Li Mei, etc), and new ones (at last 1 or 2).

Who can kick ass! You might look at their breasts and butts, but say a wrong word or give them one wrong look, and you will get a foot in the face. XD

I'm a bigger fan of the female fighters. Need more female fighters; Nitara, Ashrah, Kira (my favorite female character), Sareena, Sheeva (she's confirmed?), Frost, and Tanya ( hope she's in DLC).

I agree that more female fighters are needed but I thought this is a remake of MKs 1 through 3 only.

This is a really limited selection and probably unwelcome. I suspect many fans would prefer to see Hornbuckle instead of many of these fighters.

Anyone who wants mostly female characters is in a minority here, I think there are already enough to be honest, if there is one more she better have 4 arms. There are only 26 characters in this game and we already have what like 5 females or so and it could end up being 6? that's plenty of women in a FIGHTING game.

One thing about the number of females is how similiar they look.
I think the problem with females comes from the old games where most females were just color swaps with new moves. And things haven't changed. Pretty much every female aside Sonya and Ashrah (Who needs to be in this game) shares the same hair color, high heel boots, huge rack and lack of clothes. I know you love some of those "babes", but visually they are just too similar. The pornstar look is pretty outdated. They really should make some big changes in the individual designs to help make every character stand on its own. They want to pull off the 4:1 ratio? No one would notice or care for the small number, as long as each female has a strong and unique character design.

That's basically what they did post-MK4. MKDA came with some more unique female designs in Nitara, Frost and Li Mei, and later on MKD came Ashrah.

I would love to see NRS trying to deviate from the typical "hot kickass babe" look and try something new, however, most fans seem to want only those pornstar-looking women. So that's what they'll get.

Since this game is going to have such a large roster, the addition of more female characters would be amazing. I don't expect them to do so though...I only see the top six veteran ladies making the cut (we;ve got everyone of them so far aside from Sheeva *keeps fingers crossed we get her*). I would definitely want Tanya, Sareena, Khameleon, and Nitara to appear in some playable form. MK is known for underrepresentation, I think Soul Calibur(specifically Soul Calibur 2) does a good job with gender distribution/diversity, as does DOA.

I don't wanna see Skarlett/Ruby. I don't get the hype around her.
