Oh well thanks for not making fun of me? I guess???

Gotta say as a fan, i've been really pleased with all the DLC's so far. They've far exceeded my expectations as far as gameplay. I would like better endings, so far Rain's ending is the only one I like so far.

I'm really hoping for Horbuckle as the secret character. Would be nice, since I always remember playing MK2 on my SNES with my friends and always wondering who the heck is Hornbuckle, though I know now it was named after some lady and it was the green Lui Kang fighting blaze on the PIT 2 stage.

Still, I like how MK has always used rumors and fan gossip to create characters...I think Hornbuckle would be a great addition, what do you guys think?

Anyone else starting to think the 4th character will be Kevin Tancheron?


Seriously....I'm starting to get scared. They're making the reveal right after his final crapisode airs, and all of a sudden that generic character silhouette isn't looking so generic...

The more I think about it, the more I think it will be an MK character and not a guest. I could be way off on this but, I think they knew for a long time they would go to Comic Con, so they decided to keep the 4th character under wraps. That way they could make a splash with more publicity at a widely covered event. Having a tournament, showing the last MK Legacy episode, and show off a brand new character thus keeping MK in a nice spotlight. To me it makes sense. Also They have done a lot of fan service with the game and with fans constantly expressing characters they want to see, be it Reiko, Tanya, Frost or whomever I think NRS is well aware that someone like Batman or some random other video game action star would be nothing but a big let down to pretty much anyone. I could be way off and we'll find out shortly anyway but that's what I would do if I was running the show.

There is no guest characted that can even come close to the awesomeness of Kratos. NRS got bitched at enough for letting Kratos in, I dont think they would put another guest character on the roster. Tomorrow night is coming, we will know very soon. I wonder if they'll reveal the final 2 costumes for the compatibility pack also? Whatever....cheers to NRS for giving us some great speculation for the final participant in the greatest MK of all time!

Does anyone think of any of these powers useful for some new characters if one of them is for the mystery character of the next game?

in mkda, blaze's bio suggested that hornbuckle is one of onaga's holy men. for a while I was thinking about making a fan fic about him and some other holy men.

I was recently made aware of who the 4th character is by someone who has insider information...I will say this...he is not a guest character, nor is he a boss character.

I've been thinking about it and I don't think it is a guest character also.

Just because it is Comicon doesn't mean it has to be a comic book character that is revealed.

Resident Evil is going to be there to make some announcement and I doubt that it will be "Batman: Raccoon City" or something random like that.

Mortal Kombat has it's own huge following so who says MK doesn't deserve to hype up one of it's own characters.

Well according to the short interview on G4 it seemed Shinnok was thought of but wasnt actually going to make it as DLC.

But it is possible they purposely lied to troll everyone.

I honestly hope it's Fujin.

Not many people like him, but I love him. I really want them to bring back an MK4 character. I don't know why, but i'm absolutely nuts about MK4.

I really hope it is not a guest character. If it is, I'm most likely not going to buy him/her.
