But when push comes to shove, I honestly still don't see it happening. I can't see where DC would be cool with us splitting Batman in hald from the crotch up. Or shoving a grenade in Catwoman's torso. Or tearing Joker's skin off.

It just doesn't feel likely.

Now... the alternative would be... disabling fatalities against that one character but... that seems lame. Incredibly lame. So lame that I don't even think they'd go there.

Anyway...

I could *absolutely* see even Batman giving and receiving Fatalities.

Gillbob, I didn't forget about the Fatality Issue, I specifically mentioned the possibility of that getting changed for this one character.

They're obviously hyping this character a *lot*,
so I could totally see them laying down a "shock" like Batman with Fatalities.

yes but the true killing charachters have always been guys like sinestro and atrocitus. actually they cant kill because now the guardians just discharged hal for killing krona and sinestro is now back as a gl. read gl 67


now i just got done reading the interview about mk legacy and maybe the hydro charachter will be the dlc?


keep in mind the guy playing cyrax said he also plays hydro and the final episode of legacy will be shown at the con.

now if thats the case wouldnt hydro be what rain is?

I don't know about the rest, but this is more or less true.
It would be ridiculous for them to debut *two* water characters back-to-back.

2 reptilian type kharachters.

Point is, giving a Green Lantern character a fatality wouldn't be all that unreasonable.

guy is the best when it came to donning the red ring cant get anymore bad ass than this

na i dont like the idea of a vampire at all.

nitara is what ruined it for me with the whole hey kids we have a vampire in mk.


maybe something more on the lines of a dragon type kharacter.


make him or her balanced and not anything like onaga.


the story could be something simple like a 2000 year old dragon warrior has a taste for new kombatent blood and enters the mortal kombat tournament to get his or her taste . this warrior is happy when killing his enemy

i pretty much stopped playing MK after mk3, so i didnt know about this nitara character. if the vamp character sucked so bad, i retract my last post...

Nitara wasn't a bad character, she was just in a bad game which couldn't show her full potential, just like the rest of the characters from the MKDA-MKA era.

and arkham asylum was a great game. arkham city will be even better, im sure. if the 4th character is batman, im sure he'll be a good addition. and he doesnt really have to do a fatality, id be fine with him beating the shit out of the opponent and dragging them off for interrogation.

then again, this is coming from the guy who enjoys playing as kratos, and thought the idea of ezio (brought up in another thread i think) was a decent one. i enjoy playing as characters i know and like, whether they fit in MK or not. its only a game after all, meant to be fun and entertaining.

I hope it's good.

I also hope a few older characters get classic costumes in the future. Kang, Sonya, Kano, Cage, Raiden.

In my opinion, I WANT someone from MK4 to come. MK4 by far is my favorite game in the series. I just find it amazing.

However, I don't think it will be anything anyone is thinking. It's gonna be crazy hopefully.

i think out of all the mk kharachters i got my list of ones that need to be removed.



1. nitara.


2. bo rai cho ( if i wanna see a drunk that farts ill visit my uncle)

3 hotaru ( reminds me a of a tekken type charachter)

4. havik ( i just never dug him at all)

5 meat ( they missed a golden opertunity with him)

6. hsu-hao ( need i say why ?)

7. jarek ( seems boring)

8. ashra ( never interested me)

i wouldve added movado but i think theycan really fix him like theydid kenshi because i use to be a kenshi hater back in the deadly alliance days

I think its a guest charcter from WB games. They gave some thime a go a hint that its somewone outside the mk world " The role and story is a Mystery, but not less exciting"
I think this is a hint for a guest charcter.
