I prefer most post-MK3 characters to the "classics", and Deadly Alliance is my favourite MK game. Skarlet is still kind of shitty.

deadly alliance was fun no doubt but i prefer deception even though i hated onaga and shujinko.

Personaly I think its a MK chacter from MK legacy that is not in the game yet. Wy else would you release the Mystery character and the final episode ?.

People who want Reiko, Fujin, Shinnock, Tanya or Sareena are people with good taste, they are people that have a big love for fantasy and originality.

People who want C.Smoke, Hsu Hao, Mocrap and Ken and Ryu are people that lack all of the above...

My money is also on Hydro, he can be a good replacemend of Sub-Zero for MK10. After all he has been killed in Storymode. And Hydro has a small history in the MK universe.
And again wy else would you do unveiling of a character with the unveiling of episode of MK legacy if its not big news.

I know that most of you are trolls and fanboys, but I thought the majority of you could at least read. You have exceeded my expectations yet again, I applaud you.

The reveal isn't happening at Comic-con. NRS isn't even going to be at Comic-con. This "event" is taking place at a gamestop down the street. The character could be anybody, and the fact that its NOT being done at a panel at Comic-con means its probably not a comic book related guest.

Its taking place during comic-con because thats where the hype and the press (and the money) are going to be, hence why the legacy ep is being saved for it as well. WB makes an assload of bread off comic-con appearances, so its a no brainer that they'd be blowing their load there. It probably coincides really nicely with the character actually being done and ready to play since he'll probably be released by months end.

In summation, fuck what comic-con has become. It used to be about comics, now its just E3 with more cosplay and hollywood buffoonery.

I'm not so sure that shadow is a generic model anymore. I'm seeing some sort of shoulderpads and a bit of detail around the torso. If this is true, then we won't be getting a female character (aka Tanya).

I've already decided that, if it's a guest character, I'm not gonna download it... even though I have the Season Pass.

Well, I'll say this: At least the speculation has been fun. When so much of the game's story and hidden items were ruined by toolbags a month before the game even came out, I was a bit let down.

But now it's nice to see something we don't know about again, and the guesses and "it can't be him" or "it has to be him" or "Ed said on twitter that" stuff going on has been nice to see.

If this is being held at a Gamestop down the street, I think that we can probably put to rest the idea that it HAS to be a guest character.

It could just be an event putting an end to the DLC, for all we know. As it's not like they've announced anything else related to DLC down the road.

So maybe they just do this as a fun way of promoting a DLC character by putting a little mystery behind them, leading up to a final reveal and a "thanks for playing, we'll see you again when we have something to show for MK10."

However I do think that the fact that they decided to do an unvailing at all kinda points to the fact that it won't be an MK character, so it's tough to guess right now.

If it's an MK character, my guess is: Sareena (popular enough with the harcore fans and probably just as well known as anyone in MK4, MK:DA or MK:D).

If it's not, then my guess would be: Altair or Ezio from Assassins Creed.
