But why would Boon cite the reason for not choosing Tremor for DLC as 'there are more well known MK characters than Tremor', if they were going to have a guest character? This to me suggests the mystery character will be from MK but better known than Tremor.

In support of the new DKR teaser trailer, the forthcoming Year One animated release, and a nudge to the forthcoming Arkham City, it will clearly be Batman.

He will come with Heroic Brutalities intact, will simply fall like Goro and Kintaro after a second round (can't be killed), and will feature a special win pose where he urinates on the camera directly after performing said Heroic Brutality before flipping the bird to the viewer.

I hope it's anyone, but not a guest character. New, old whoever, but I don't want NRS efforts being spent on some character that most likely will never appear in the game and is the cheap attraction at best.

Since they going to reveal character on the ComicCon I think it's either new character or *shudder* guest character.

Also, what's so special about Jason Woorhies? Big dumb thug with machete. Not even charismatic. Nothing special. I dunno, why some people wants him in the game.

Very likely to be a guest character. Maybe a new character, but I doubt it and almost certainly not an MK4-8 character. They don't want their big reveal to be greeted with a chorus of "Who's that?" from the audience, so it's probably going to be some big recognizable guest.

The only exception I can think of is if they decided to put the effort into making Goro balanced and playable since the casual audience member would almost certainly recognize him. But that seems extremely unlikely so I'm still going with guest character.

Also curious that the flyer and some advertisements are listing it not as the fourth character but as the final character.

If it's a guest character, who would it be? Ryu(SF)? Duke Nukem? Ryu(Ninja Gaiden)? It could be anyone
