You're the ones who apparently must have stopped going outside and noticing clothing styles over 10 years ago if you think people ever stopped doing that like it was just a passing fad.

Dude I live at least near the same area you live/lived in and haven't seen anyone wear a backwards cap in years without either:

1) Being a douchebag

or

2) Purposefully acting like a douchebag for the lulz

I can see tilted or even skewed a little towards the side, but, and especially for a fucking cop, backwards is just lame.

I was looking at that Stryker picture and something didn't seem right, and then it hit me. There is a lot of stereotyping and racism in it.

We see the only black man in MK beating down the only cop in MK who happens to be a white male. It probably doesn't help that Stryker just said "Police brutality coming up". Is MK trying to show racial tension?

I don't really think they did it on purpose, and it isn't doesn't have to be interpreted as racist so I'm not really whining. But I do think it's an amusing thing to think about.

Does it? I don't know.

I was stereotyping, obviously, but I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw an exception to those two rules; in fact it's hard to remember the last time I've seen anybody with a backwards cap at all. You very well may be an exception.

I'm not saying that backwards cap = douchebag, I'm saying that most examples of people I've seen wearing backwards caps have been douchebags.

No it makes you a phony, rapper wannabe or at least in my eyes.

Anyway, why do you guys want the hat backwards? He is a cop, Swat it looks like, and should have it fowards. If hes a good cop then yeah he would be neat and tidy sort to say.

In other words, it will make no sense for the guy to wear his hat backwords.

I don't know how far this "he's a cop, he wouldn't wear it backwards" argument goes. The world basically ended. I don't think uniform codes matter to him anymore.

It's true that a lot of cops are tidy, but lot of them are also not. Hell, cops made the alcholism+Ex-Wife combination famous. Also, RE2 fans will know that Chris Redfield had a very unorganized desk.

Aside: I can completely see wearing a cap backwards in sports or something like that.

Aside 2: Stryker is a 20/30-something cop, not a chill Barack Obama.

Edit: Just realized that I said it's ok to wear in a sport but not while fighting. I'm a naive little man. REGARDLESS, I don't think Stryker needs a fucking backwards cap.

Ouch I think I just died a little on the inside........

But seriously around where I live we still wear hats backwards but mostly for work purposes.

An unorganized desk dosn't mean anything towards the line of his outfit. Cops are supposed to be tidy on thier uniform when their working. Stryker if i am not mistaken was working when mk3 was out so, yeah wearing the hate backwards dosn't make sense.

Ditto that!
Sometimes my hair looks like crap and needs to be covered,
but I don't want that damned bill in my FOV while I'm working.

I'll admit that (IRL) it looks better forwards- it's a functionality thing.

Being able to swap the hat around as a taunt seems like a great idea and perfectly reasonable. It has the potential to *actually* taunt people ("Stryker's hat should be BACKWARDS, damnit!!!")
OK are we really having an argument about whether or not he should be wearing his hat backwards or not?

really.....?

Perhaps he was working, but you got to take into consideration that everyone in his precinct is dead. I don't think he cares about the uniform anymore. And as Cyborg Hero pointed out, wearing your hat backwards has real practical value in a fight.

I must say this and you're welcome to disagree, but doing so makes you wrong.

This is the first Mortal Kombat game since MKII that actually looks good when compared to its contemporaries. That gives me hope.

I can definitely see the 4-armed figure-
I just don't see any reason to believe it isn't just another statue of Goro.

I do hope Kintaro shows up though... he was always my favorite sub-boss. I had a free moment, so I grayed out everything else:

Stryker wears his hat backwards in the X-ray video, this is not MK3 where his cap stood still, of course it will move or even fall off throughout the fight.

Stryker looks great except....

The hat NEEDS TO BE BACKWARDS!

And it's kinda flat on top like a frying pan... Maybe the hair could be a little longer too.

So maybe just stick with the body, do some edits on the head.

Yeah that looks alot different than Goro so I'm gonna have to go with Kintaro on that one. It also seems like he has a large orange loincloth compared to Goro's red and black loincloth.

Except this figure has red light coming from below, which is absent on the cliff further back. That's how I was able to trace the outline (and even so still had to guess a bit- it's a tiny picture, after all!)
