Gamespot release New Mortal Kombat TV Spot!

The first TV Spot for the upcoming Mortal Kombat has just been unveiled on prominent gaming website, Gamespot. Showing off an array of gameplay between various characters laced with character Intro's and footage from the Kratos reveal trailer released previously [full story].

Featured during this 30-second advertisement are a few never seen before tidbits. Firstly, The Tower from MK2 makes it's return on the Arena roster along with our first look at an Old Shang Tsung alternate costume! Another not yet seen Arena is Shao Kahn's Throne Room complete with his pet beast Taigore.The TV spot concludes with Jax smashing Sektor into the floor and goes to take a football kick to decapitate the former Lin Kuei Cyborg resulting in a Fatality!

The shadows of a girl at the 18th second. I don't think that's Mileena since they already showcased her. She is meant to be mysterious. Which leads me to believe that its Skarlet. Her silhouette matches the chaingedLady in Red. But then again all the females except Sheeva have the same body type. Her hair, though matches the chained girl...

It's probably of note, they show the Sky Temple when Kano does the throat slit gesture.

Also the shadow is Mileena, it's the exact same footage from the "Shadows" trailer that came out after the original game announcement.

I hate to be pessimistic but I think that's one of the women we've already seen. This commercial is meant for TV i guess and you really can't show many of the girls in their outfits without getting angry calls from the "overly concerned". I doubt she's a secret character

Like I said. Why would they give Mileena a mysterious showing when she is pretty much the mascot of the females in the game? Its probably Lady red.

The scene in question lifted straight from story mode. It is Mileena.

I just want them to announce on Fatality Friday that the game will be in stores on April 1, and not April 19.
