The subway fatality is sick! kinda funny as well, also subs classic fatality looks great. Although i think it will be revised.

I hope that Spine rip doesn't replace the one I've seen before. Hopefully it's just an alternate because I thought the rip & smash was WAY cooler. Besides that I love EVERYTHING I've seen. Jax is the new Zangief. HWARGHN!

You know after seeing Jax i can only imagine how the others are going to be.I with hold my judgment on characters I did'nt like before and I will wait to see how they are reimagined in this game.Looks like you do get a second chance to make a first impression.

I've never been that big a fan of Jax, but he looks great to me.

Actually, this new MK has made me rethink a LOT of characters. This is the very first MK where I'm going "wow, I want to master Sektor... no way, Cyrax... holy cow, Jax..." especially when none of them were characters I was particularly interested in before.

Am I seriously the only one that thinks this could be one of the biggest leaps in quality for a franchise in gaming history?

Not at all Senor Luca. Everything from the graphics to the character individuality is refreshing for me.

Haven't had a chance to see it yet, but sooo glad the new character is Jax and not Kang. I really like what I've seen in the pics. He looks intimidating, which I don't think he ever has before.

The Subway fatality sounds incredible. I'm dying to see it in action.

Very disappointed that the new fatality is Sub-Zero's. Why not show Jax's? For all of fuck's sake, have we really not seen enough of those two masked camera-hogs? Geez! Get the hell out, already!

I think Stryker -- if he makes the cut -- should be given a similar look to Jax's... I know he's a cop but maybe give him additional background, like he served in the army before he became a cop

Jax's fighting style looks like kickboxing/muay thai to me.

Sonya should have an improved MKvDC look... maybe lose the ponytail and beret, lose the thong

I'm really interested in seeing Sonya now. I hope they don't whore her up too much, it doesn't sit well with Sonya. Just makes her seem like a "blonde" to me. I'd like to see her sporting a bandana and a jacket of some sort.

I've been thinking the same way lately.

I wonder though, will all the characters perform the same animation of finishing moves when it comes to arena based fatalities? (Such as where JAX is smashing the face of his adversary against the train)

I asked myself that same question. It might look a bit odd seeing someone like Mileena perform it for instance but even if its a shared animation its a bit over the top but still awesome.

Oof! I'm all about giving Sonya a new look and dressing her up in more than Kitana and Mileena, but a bandana with a jacket just sounds too masculine of an outfit. I think MKDC was fine, she just needed maybe a bra lol. And her 2 costumes have to include ponytail & loose hair >XO ... that is, if Boon ever wants to see his grandmother again...

I think it's because he finally looks proud. I've always seen Jax as the ideal American soldier. Proud, stern, and a born leader. He looks like a leader, which he really hasn't since MK3.

I am a bit disappointed in the presentation of Sub-Zero's head rip fatality. I hope the fine tune it more and make it more brutal. It looks like it took no effort for Subs to rip a persons head of with the spine intact. I would like to see him have to put more force into it or maybe have to use 2 hands at first to rip peoples heads off. Kinda like the head rip in MK:A mixed with brutality like the Kratos head rip in GOW3. Also the person that is getting there head ripped off did not flinch much at all. I would assume if someone were to be in that position...when he pulls the head off I would think the victims body would get pulled in some fashion also. Especially being that they are standing up.

So I didn't know this was on Spike and totally missed it. THought it was going up on the website. The site says something about new fatalities in 20 minutes. Is this going to be something they post on the site? Or should I go watch Spike?

Yes, big difference, smart one. Especially when you're talking details of a video game character. Bandanas don't go through or around your head, so that means they cover it. Headbands don't. Shall I post pics? A Sonya where you can't see her blond hair is just plain bad. Way to go, champ.

They need to make Sonya look strong but feminine, in MKvDCU she looked like a bad trannie or drag queen, way too masculine face and she was just too big all around. They need to try to get her to look like the actress that played her in the digitized MK games.
