Jax looks so badass. I like his winning pose where he hold the american flag and wrap it around this arms. Jax looks great and the subway fatality too.

Only thing I really don't like about Jax is his winning pose with the flag. Hope they change it.

I didnt like Jax since MK2 , but i am glad he looks intresting again.
His look is awesome, and he feels 'heavy' as he should.
Great outfit, great voice, nice moves, great Xray.
The subway fatality is AMAZING! I would love it the guy's face was even more smashed during the collision.

Now, on the down side of things...
I didnt like that they made the 'answering the twitter questions' such a big deal , and then only answered 2 questions, by saying 'ummm we dont know yet, probably..."
PICK some questions that YOU HAVE the actual answers!!!

Plus, i have to say that even it looks as the best MK yet (graphics wise),
seeing it in a video with other late video games footage, it still looks preety weak.
It may be the Best MK graphics yet, but its one of the worst of its generation i think. It may improve and i may sound like a dumbass, but the Force Unleashed and Resident Evil5 in this video look A LOT more realistic , and MK should be up there too, since it was one of the first games to use motion capture and digitalised actors ever. It COULD be even more realistic and darker, but compared to others, still looks a lot cartoonish :(

Love the way they keep everything classic, yet bring it with the touch of today. Serious looking, yet old-school feel.

Jax looks cool and it's great how he fights. Love the way that they make character fight differently.
I'm surprised with the Subway. Loved it in MK3, but never felt like a MK stage. The version in de 3d MK's I didn't like too much. But they surprised me with the look of this version. Looks great and I love the stage fatality. When I read the description I was like "What?!?", but now that I've seen it, I like it.

You can briefly see the fight ladder. Mileen vs Jax, but I can't see clearly enough who the character is above them.

They should change the order of Jax 's combined fatality. It's more logical to first rip off the arms and then smash the head to pieces. Not like Boon mentioned now.
Hope the Sub-Zero Spine rip doesn't replace the cool one from the E3 fatality montage (spine rip through stomach, freeze body, smash it with head attached to spine).
Also don't like that they now leaning more towards 20 characters. 26 or 20'ish is a lot of difference. And for me it's a huge deal, because I don't buy DLC and stuff like that. I don't like buying stuff through downloads.

I think most of us expected a finisher that would combine both of Jax's from MK2 after Kung Lao and Cage both got one that worked that way.

Is that Superman punch supposed to replace his dash punch or is it a normal move? Either way it's more down to earth and cooler to watch.

Jax definitely looks better. Little disappointed of the appearance of the machine gun on his back. And pulling the flag out as his winning pose is a bit...odd. His X-Ray is awesome!

Subway, I'm so glad it returned and it even looks better. AND HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE STAGE FATALITY IS SICK!

I got a question though...would THAT stage fatality animation be different for everybody? Because Jax throwing someone 10 feet looks possible, but someone like Kitana? Because it looks ridiculously goofy when I'm imagining it.

Let's not say the MK team stole any of those concepts, they look nothing like the fan made concepts. Especially your Kitana. The boots are not even nearly the same, her boots don't have cut out designs to see her legs nor does she have a bracelet. She wears small arm bands and arm guards.

i liked the out except for thegreen pants and machine gun. x ray could have been better. it ok. sonic wave was nice to see. lol the american flag winning pose was crazy. lol overall jax actually looked ok. the subway was boring until i saw the stae fatality. THAT was SICk. reminded of when black spiderman did that to sandman face in sm3.

I hate this news.... it spoils the coolness of the new Jax who rocks... but It can't satisfy me now... i'm deeply DEEPLY sad right now... they shouldn't give us 26 character hopes up and then lower the number like there is nothing to it...

There are more fans than only scorpion and sub-zero fans you know... the 6 (if it are indeed only 20) character they leave out of it have huge fans aswel...

BTW, this news totally cuts Younger sub-zero and Noob saibot from the list, probably cyborg smoke aswel, as 3 cyborgs in a roster of only 20 (or so) is too much.

That said, I think they did a nice job with Jax. I never liked him much after MK2, but this looks very good. Like the older, more serious look. Flag winning pose is a bit cheesy, tough it kinda suits him well (also remember his american flag background in the character selection screen MK2). Gun is also not needed.

Subway fatality is sick! Tough the stage itself isn't really impressing. Really hoping for a MK1 or 2 arena reveal next time.

Ed Boon didn't say anything about lowering the roster number. Just because he didn't say "26" doesn't mean we're not getting it. He guessed about 20 PLUS characters. No more. No less.
