will never happen. Since all the power if just for the fighters and some background elements. so even a new console will still have cookie cutter people in the background.

How come, Shao Kahn doesn't use those monsters (the one on the colloseum ) in the MK Tournament as main fighters ?

Well think again, NOT all MK3 characters appear in the game... Sheeva, Jade, Rain and Stryker make the best chance.

I think Jade is many tiers over this 3 on the popularity ladder.

She even appeared in a girls of gaming (I think it was girls of gaming) video instead of other MK girls.

wow from the HD images you can see a body turn to shreds in the forest arena not just torn in two like a previous image,i cant wait to see the stage fatality of that arena and can see mostly of Scorpion skull as battle damage.

just a thought... how about remaking Mortal Kombat Trilogy with the graphics from the new Mortal Kombat? But only with fatalities. maybe even new fatalities. None of the friendships etc... That game had over 30 characters. OR release every single character they ever had into one game. Not the double Sub-Zero characters either. 1 Sub-Zero is enough. 2 fatalities each. No characters need to be unlocked, No story mode no mini games. Just BAM! over 70 characters 2 fatalities, well over 2 dozen levels, pop it in and play. WHO'S WITH ME !?!

Seeing Reptile's new picture confirmed what I've said before, this game have him look like a turtle. People before were complaining thinking he looks like a bird. While the beak may give that misconceptions, I always thought tutle.

2011 can't get here fast enough for me. The Screenshots look pretty darn amazing, wish they'd have included Kitana in these, I'm dying to get a better view of her new look. Oh well, here's hoping for some renders soon.

I really wish more fans thought like this. The appearance of Ashrah made me think the MK team had learned from their mistakes but obviously i was wrong. Mileena's new costume is beyond terrible

I have yet to hear anyone successfully explain what's so bad about it. I think it's the best she's ever looked. It fits her personality. What more do people want? Realism? MK has always put artistic value over realism, and that is what separates the series from many of it's more bland competitors.
Also remember that the dressing standards of the Edenians are already very revealing. If Mileena wants to be the center of attention, she's going to have to go the extra mile, and in Edenia, that logically leaves you with almost no clothing.

I think Ashrah looked okay, but Mileena is not Ashrah. They are different characters with different motives. They're not going to want to dress the same.

I'm so tired of seeing people throw around the word "slut" when it comes to almost every female character in the MK games. I don't think there's anything wrong with Mileena's costume, nor Kitana's for that matter. I have yet to understand why people around here are so afraid of skin? Are we not adults? or are we immature tweens who giggle when someone says penis aloud? OY VEY

The people who are complaining about Mileena's costume don't really care about the fact that it fits Mileena's personality.

They're not using logical thinking, they're just faking outrage at the alleged un-PCness of a fictional woman being scantily clad. (Because, y'know, it's sooo sexist and unfair, it's not like half the male cast is shirtless and Shao Kahn is a nearly naked beefcake or anything...)

"Mileena is showing too much skin" is an opinion that does not make sense. It's like saying "Batman should rob a bank."

"Mileena is showing too much skin" makes perfect sense if that is what a person thinks. More skin = more empowerment apparently.

Isn't that exactly what they're doing do to the MK creators, though? I mean, someone worked hard on that Mileena model, and then people call it "horrible." Besides, fedegita knows I respect his opinion despite not agreeing with it.
