that giant monster beast thing in kahn's arena background somewhat looks like moloch. hmm.....

some other have noted that, too, and i would agree it could be a big oni destroyer ready to be a potentially awesome stage fatal. i also see the attack of the clones arena battle influence some others have noted. either way, it looks to be the background the beat at the moment.

I'm lovin these screenshots and Khan's area is lookin great.

Everyone looks excellent, backgrounds are gorgious, every bloody beatten detail looks marvellous.

I think that would be awesome, especially if they curse as well as cheer. If a character gets halfway down for a flawless victory, the crowd could mock the losing player.

Commentary from Kahn and Shang Tsung in the throne room stages might also be cool if done with enough subtly.

Seriously WTF is that thing and why it wasn't the first thing that I saw when I looked at the image?! You are calling it the tormentor but I can't find any info about this name related in mortal kombat (the only reference I found was about the oni tormentor drahmin).

Would be awesome to see that Oni Tormentor monster be part of a stage Fatality. Could go something like. . . not the traditional uppercut, but a powerful spinning roundhouse kick, kicking the beaten opponent towards the monster, him freeing himself of the chains, ripping your head and every limb off, throwing them and the limbless stump of a torso to the crowd.

If they wanted to put a massive Oni character in the background for a fatality why not just use Moloch? We all know we're never going to see him again anyway. Might as well get some use out of him.

Because they didn't feel like it? and why make SOME use of a character that we're never going to see again? . . . dots for miles. . .

Looks like scorpion had an accident lol and in the kollisiem I'm pretty sure they have a posters with kintaros face on them loving the detail in the background especially the tormentor and the monk looking dude lying dead on a tree....Ahhh you gotta love Mortal Kombat.

Boon wasn't like when he said they were focussing on quality with this game. WB are the best.

Yeah, I meant the character select screen. They're always my favorite part of the coverage for any MK game. I'm also hoping the next select screen shows shows silhouettes of the new characters.

Yeah I hear that brother, I love them just as much. So far, from the screen we've seen, I don't like "DLC" being part of that screen. I'd like for them just to add another "?" and have that be DLC, then just having it say "DLC", it doesn't mesh or fit well the way they have it.

Reptile has teeth! Hooray! Edit:In Khan's Arena there looks to be two small orange orbs. One is behind Nightwolf and the other one is near Reptile's skull.

It would be so cool at the end of the match if the crowd continuously shouts finish him and starts booing if you don't.

Kahn's Arena looks beautiful. By far the best stage shown so far.

Also, Nightwolf's costume looks rather dull and desaturated. What's up with that? It looks pretty nice, but it looks different then the costume we seen him wear at the E3 build.
