What an excellent thread!

I am extremely happy that since MKvsDC we have gotten the MK characters brought to life in a way they've never been before thanks to the fantastic talent of the voice actors and actresses.

I am overall pleased with almost everyone. I only have a few complaints:

1) Shang Tsung:

Its not that its bad. Its just that its so unfitting and so seriously off for him. I heard that Cary (our main and original Shang Tsung from the movie) was going to play him. It is a real real REAL shame that didn't happen.

2) Some lines of Kitana:

The actress was great and all, she did a great job, but, she was one of the few characters who delivered some overdramatic lines that were too exaggerated. Those lines aside (like "I am Kitana! Princess of Outworld!") she was super.

3) Raiden:

"Thunder Take you!"......not. good. at. all. But that was it. Everything else was great.

4) Quan Chi:

There's something about Chi's voice that doesn't seem to fit for me. Its not bad at all. It just feels a bit boring for him.

actually everytime when i hear one sindel scream, it makes me think about the corrupt rogues from diablo 2 in act 1, its the exact same sound, also from the amazon when she gets hit and her valkarie ^^

Is there anywhere where there is a full, legit list of which characters are voiced by which actors?

The IMDB for this game is inaccurate as crap, listing two or more actors for any given role (not including obvious stuff like Scorpion), crediting actors who are not listed in the end credits (why in God's name didn't they list the roles there in the first place?), and generally it seems someone keeps dicking around with the content all the time so very little of it seems to be cromulent.

I feel you. It sucks that IMDB is so inaccurate. I should probably research and find a 100% authentic list of the cast just to be sure.

I tried actually but it seemed like most listings were wiki based so I'm skeptical on the authenticity. I wonder if the Prima Guide has legit info? If it's true to form it'll be a giant clusterfuck of erroneous and mismatched names. It's something to hope for though right?

It seems like Shang Tsung's voice actors gets the most shit around here.

But you know what I really liked about him?

Maybe that's just me,but I thought that when the actor did all of Shang's little battle yells and grunts and everything,he went out of his way to sound like Lo Pan.

And that's fucking awesome.

I did not have any problems with Shang's voices either.
....Well, maybe not Ando, anyway. lol
