I agree to the "Sheeva not a slow character."

She doesn't need to be slow. In the opening video for Armageddon, she looked fast and powerful at the same time. You can have speed and strength combined together and still make a great character. Sheeva does not need to be this slow powerhouse just because she's a Shokan and has four arms and is most likely going to be a tall character.

She should be speedy and powerful altogether. Slowness is just going to make things... complicated with this character.

One other thing I would like to add... Her voice... I LOVED how she sounded in MK3. If we can have that voice come back then she'll be complete for me. She sounded like crap when it came to Armageddon. Let's hear the shrieking sound when she gets impaled or knocked out. I loved her voice. Unique I'll say.
While I never really used Sheeva I think she deserves a spot as much as any other trillogy character. I think she has the potential to be a great character, they just really need to make sure she differently from her male counterparts.
Hay if Capcom can make Hulk and She-Hulk play differently then I'm sure the MK team can do the same

I love that sketch of her, makes her look like Andariel from Diable 2. ^^

Gosh am I so glad to see her revealed in Raiden's Vignette. That could be a sign we might see gameplay of her soon. I hope to God she doesn't have high heels. If she does, more power to NRS for doing what they want with the female models. I'm hoping she has more feminine like animations, and want them to bring back her fierce combos from UMK3 in some form. I'm sure she's probably already solid and ready for a demonstration video.

Shes looking nice, and her outfit looks like the umk3 outfit to me.

I'm very particular when it comes to how Sheeva looks. I love how she looked in MK3 but I haven't liked any other appearance or the other Shokan's appearances since Deadly Alliance (I think Goro looked awesome in MK4). This is mostly down to proportions and face. It's impossible to tell what she looks like from Raiden's vignette. I hope they've done her justice because Goro looks quite good in this game, for the first time in a long time.

Basically it all comes down to long legs, small waist, broad shoulders, her facial structure should be a female take on Goro's - not a more masculine take on a female's. And she should be tall and stand up straight. In Armageddon she hunched down and it looked really wrong. Sheeva should tower over human opponents.

Yes! You perfectly did a refined 1980's supermodel look like the one she was rocking in MK3.

Even though we only need to see about five or so characters, I have to say I'm even more curious to see what she'll play like, perhaps more so than even Kabal.

As they have placed a large focus on making every character play and feel differently, she's one of the biggest question marks in my mind. I can safely predict Kabal - we all can - and I know some of what Smoke's arsenal will be like.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect from Sheeva on any and all fronts.

I sincerely doubt she'll have a straight port of her MK3-era moveset. The fireball was interesting in that it was largish and travelled kinda high. But damned if all her other moves haven't been derivative as all hell. It's probably a major reason why she's labelled as such an unpopular character - almost nothing about her feels terribly unique. Variation has to be present; movesets really and truly need to set all three Shokans apart. There is no reason everyone should have a teleport stomp anymore.

I've said in the past that she should have an element of grace about her, something unexpected in a massive four-armed creature. But when you look at her MK3 auto-combos, they gave the impression that she was repeatedly spinning and using one leg to whack the enemy unconscious - a sense of balance and poise would be welcome in my view. Sure as hell would set her apart from her Shokan co-stars.

I love the one shot we've seen of her so far. She seems much more lithe than she did in Armageddon (then again, most renders from the 3D period were on the beefy side). It gives me hope for her.

Just hope she's not a female Goro again.

Not speculating much on Story mode. I know too much, but also too little, and the apparent absence of Motaro has me wondering what the hell she's going to be up to, if anything. I'm predicting cannon fodder, unfortunately. Would love to be proven wrong.

Agreed. NRS claim that they focused on making every character unique and stand apart should mean Sheeva, hopefully, is completely different from bruisers like Goro and Kintaro. I'm very excited to see how she'll play.

Hey, she's another character from MK3 so she's a welcome addition in my book towards having a full MKT roster. grin She's never been a "favorite" of mine but I do appreciate her. Based on the small and brief glimps we were given of her I'm pleased with how she's looking so far. wink She better not have hi-heals on though... grin

Oh and her Mohawk is just a part of her character, so I would say to just deal with it if you don't like it. Just like I expect Sindel to have her black and white hair.

X-Men's Storm pulls off the mohawk pretty well. wink

Oh and who says Sheeva can't both be sexy and frighting?

I absolutely loved the outfit they gave her in MKA! The red-gold garment really made her look royal...and I like that they made her look darker than the other Shokan. If only they worked with her MKA primary in this game, but made her look slimmer and not that bulky. She would look soooo good!

I just hope they give her those dragon eyes she had, and keep her angular look from MK3. I'd also hope that she doesn't look TOO top-heavy with those arms, she needs chunder-thighs to support them! Indeed.

She should be agile like a giant cat, heavy yet graceful, and ya a few grapplings would be nice, to show tat 4 arms are better than 2.

Well seeing as they are playing up her
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Draco lineage
in this MK game I think that's a pretty good possibility.
