Reptile still looks like a massive pansy. lol

However, I am glad this vignette is full of nods to the movies.

I think everything about the vignette sucks. I lost all hope in NRS a while ago

Here's what makes me roll my eyes. In the time it took for Liu Kang to disappear, reappear and counterattack, they could've animated him rolling around the opponent's side and doing the exact same thing. Then Liu Kang wouldn't have a completely random and unnecessary teleport.

I hate everything about the vignette. No surprise, NRS yet again you fail to exceed any expectations.

Why Liu Kang has a teleport??? wtf? evertime they can't think of moves they just give them teleports.

I hope for this because I really want the Portal to look more like the MK:DA Portal

Seems like a reasonable question to ask.
The vignette uses the animatics to transition fairly unremarkably from Reptile to Tsung. I think it's a fun allusion to those powers, but probably more of an indication that it isn't in the game, than is.

Then again, you never really know.

Ugh, I have to agree. It's bothering me, too.

Liu's intro was pretty cool and his music is fitting for him.
Kano's lookin good.
Shang Tsung's look I feel it's missing something but i'll have to see it more in action.
The level is lookin sweet as hell.
Telaport punch is I think a good move for him and it's fitting I think.
I like how he does a praying stance before he preformes his fatality
and not just goes to the fatality right away.
Also it does seem to me that it might be possible that Shang Tsung could
morph.
His fist punch fatality is cool.

A glitch with Reptile?

Notice how just before Liu punches him he's suddenly turned towards Liu...

I kinda only focused on Shang (he is my favourite character after all), but the background does look amazing. We didn't see a lot of it, but they're really pulling out all the stops to make the 2D backgrounds fantastic, and they've succeeded in almost every instance.

I like will use to destroy most of you....LOL

Overall, This was pretty cool. Two new reveals. Kano looks pretty spot on. I like Shang Tsung here, but will always prefer his MKDA look. This vignette really didn't pack as much of a punch as Sub Zero and Mileena's though.

It's funny how people are complaining about how some of the characters have retained their facial designs from MK vs DC
When I believe it was a week ago (maybe 2) that people were complaining about the lack of cosmetic consistency

Freaking AWESOME!

Thankfully we finally get to see Liu from a different perspective then the slightly upward angle we were situated with the Gamestop vignette
Before I was a little put off by the roundness of his face but now we can see him from all angles now and well Liu Kang looks pretty AWESOME!
Honestly this game has done something that really no other MK has done before and that is have me gain a common interest in every character.
Liu looks like fine to play as (as does every other character so far)


When I saw Kano I went ballistic! They finally gave him a black dragon tat! YES! Which just makes him look like a total bad ass.
As for his outfit, it's awesome! I was hoping for something akin to his MK3 design and it seems that is just what we got; So I would say I am a pretty happy Kano fan right now.
Hopefully he is portrayed as a complete take no shit bad ass in story mode.
No more Kano the thuggish pawn and more of Kano, the black dragon mob boss who punches his hand through your chest and rips your heart out.

It's funny there are so many complaining about the lack of detail or thought when it comes to Shang. Honestly I am just happy to see Shang, I like that they are sticking to his original color as they did in DA(Red)
It's hard for me to really give an opinion on him yet seeing I have only seen him drowsily swaying his head with his eyes shut and a kind of half smile on his face
Though if I can say one thing that I am a little irked about it is that he has no makeup over his eyes.

The Rooftop I LOVE IT! Dark, sinister! It pretty much looks as if the Antichrist itself climbed its way out of hell! (Happy to see they finally worked the crashed helicopter into the stage.)
The only thing I will complain about is...I miss my gargoyles :(

Overall I loved what was shown. Liu has the Bruce Lee thing going pretty good for him. Kano looks like a complete bad ass, and Well we got to see Shang *thumbs up*

Very nice vignette. Are you guys sure that's the Rooftop stage? Because it looks more like the Portal stage to me...

But anyways, this is Liu Kang's best appearance ever in my opinion. He's got an athletic build, giving him more a Bruce Lee vibe like his 2D appearances rather than his past buff appearance in the 3D games. Alot more smooth and trim. And those people who say Liu Kang doesn't look Asian... Are you blind?!

Kano looks too... hairy. XD Like in MKvsDCU. I preferred his bald look, it was much cooler. But I like that he sports his MK3 outfit, looks really cool on him.

Shang Tsung, as mentioned, looks rather boring this time around. I liked his MKvsDCU appearance better, but was hoping he would wear a robe like in MKDA-MKA to reflect that he is indeed a sorcerer... Instead they gave him the typical vest-look with the loincloth which most of the male characters have. It's disappointing.

Liu Kang's fatality looks a bit too simple. Hopefully his other fatality looks cooler - hoping it will be his dragon fatality. ^^ His intro was rather cool, blowing out the fire. Was kinda like "Hey look, I can play with fire without getting burned and you can't, haha!" :P

I think that the design philosophy with Kano is that making him look like Rich Divizio is a bad idea since Quan Chi already looks like Rich Divizio.

Also at this point, it's been about sixteen years since the last time I saw Bezou make a post that wasn't entirely composed of complaints either. "Everything after MK3 is bad", "I invented Skarlet, she's my imaginary girlfriend, they're not allowed to make her anything but blonde", "Everything after MK3 is bad", "People who have supernatural powers shouldn't teleport! There's no way that in their vast psycho-kinetic abilities, they'd be able to disappear and reappear! That's just madness!", "Everything after MK3 is bad", "I don't like ____ costume", "Did I mention everything after MK3 was bad today yet?"

Am I the only one thinking there should be a point where the mods step in, when a person does NOTHING but run down the game every single thread? Isn't that extreme trolling, and generally bad for internet communities? And don't gimme that "but he made all those sprite comics" crap, that was like five years ago.

At the VERY LEAST, Jesus Christ, if you don't like the game then don't be here! Don't talk about or buy it, nobody's holding a god damned gun to your head.

Shang Tsung's face looks younger than MkvsDC version even though it looks identical. The hair and skin on the new model looks younger and sleeker, its actually not a copy and paste.

His overall look is cool. I'm liking the red color scheme instead of yellow.

My only dislikes about this vignette is Reptile. Does anyone really like his design? I think he's so ugly. It's his worse design yet. They should've gone with his Shaolin Monks design if they wanted to make him look reptilian. He looks so retarded and not even remotely intimidating. His mask is also ugly. Not only does it make him look like he has a beak, it's just plain ugly. Ok, so overuse of that word but it's true.

I don't know how I feel about Shang Tsung's costume... he looks ok I guess, but I've seen better concepts of him from previous games.

And my extreme dislike is Liu Kang's teleport. I thought it was cool when he had his teleport-incinerating fatality but not as a regular move. Seems like everyone's getting somewhat the same fatalities and teleports in this game. Ugh.

As annoyed as I am of Bezou's constant bitching, I don't think it's necessary to ban him for it...especially since the only reason is, "He annoys people."

Call it what you want. Doesn't change a thing. And like I've said a million times by now, if people actually READ my posts, you would see that I say a lot of good things about this game. I just don't say that EVERYTHING about this game is good because it isn't. I may bitch, but I don't bullshit.
Though that Bezouu guy was a real asshole. Nothing good to say at all.
