Don't you just love the monks clapping in the courtyard during the fight instead of after?

I didn't even notice the monks clapping, that's awesome. I love all the little details they're throwing in.

I'd actually rather they clap after. But if they clap during AND after I'm not bothered at all.

Kano's on point man so many characters I never cared about now I have a interest in them now if Stryker can be this good then NRS I give u two thumbs up.

My goodness, this has been a perfect week for MK(2011). This is the way it should be at this point.

I am very pleased with this video. My boy Kano is shown here. I love how he twirls the knife like he's bored and then twirls them both in the air. His design is perfect. As I said in my earlier impression with Liu's bio vignette, this is a great redesign of his MK3 costume, while keeping the head from his MKvsDC model. I don't know why but I really like the beard look for him.
I cannot wait to see Kano's heart rip fatality. It's been a long time, been waiting since MK1 to see a good revamp, none have been good after all these years. This man is a part of the reason why the ESRB was made.

Liu Kang is always good to see no matter what. I can pretty much tell how he will play, definitely my top top favorites.

Courtyard looks spectacular!! each monk is rendered individually, wow! The guards follow you as you fight... crazy.

Wastelands was my fave background in MK2, they've done an amazing job with it here. The beach effect is also a very nice addition.

Lastly, the Armory is looking great. Most of the widget videos are recorded in a much darker quality than the combo videos for each character for some reason.


This is going to be the best fucking mortal kombat game.

anyone notice that Kano has the same throw as Scorpion ... its kinda weak sauce ...but other then that Kano looks impressive ....courtyard is amazing

As was pointed out before, that throw is probably now Kanos alone as scorpion has a new throw where he jabs his spear in their neck then throws them in the air and yanks them back down.

But they seem to have changed Scorpions throw to the one where he throws you in the air and spears you in the jaw. It has been noticed in the "what would you do with Scorpion's spear" movie.

As of now, Kano is the only one with it.

I have been keeping the company of TRMK for the last few months, and let me just say... WHAT A MISTAKE!

They have such a vast community of negative complainers that I was convinced all MK fans are depressive wanks who can only find the dark side in anything! I nearly called off discussing the game with anybody, until I decided I should come back here (after years of absence) and see what's up.

You people have given me a breath of fresh air to my stoma! Just kidding... Don't really have a stoma... Just had to slip in a Family Guy reference. Seriously though, I am a convert and here to celebrate the release of this amazing game with you.

Now I'll say something relevant to this thread: Kano looks awesome! Licking his knife proves yet another of 'Lupinko's' leaks. The stages look incredible! And, I just love how Liu's beaten body violently shakes before he thrusts his fiery fist into Kano's chest.

I'm glad you feel like this is the place for you (it is indeed an awesome forum), but, do take note that we too have our share of "dark siders".

Sometimes you'll see a lot of the stuff you saw in the other forum (like in every forum), but, overall, the positives here (positive members with good attitudes, etc) makes up for the ones that are not so nice.

It's a great place where to be. Nice to see you converted.

Liu Kang is very honorable, to the point that I wonder how no one's killed him yet.

I can't say much more than everyone else already has. At first I thought the seaside stage might have been the Nethership en route to Shang's island; probably is the wasteland though.

Kano is just about perfect. NRS have really hit this one out of the park...

I'm still wondering how they have made this game so good in so little time.
