But I don't want to see Raiden. I prefer a vignette of gameplay (Noob Saibot-style) of another character, like Jade or Stryker. Or even Kabal. No, maybe I prefer Raiden over Kabal...

Btw, the ¿Wasteland? stage probably will be my favourite stage in the game. Simply awesome.

Dont know if this has been mentioned, probably, but I didnt want to read all 5 pages. Kano pulls his knifes out of his fuckin boots man. Why cant they do that for Kitana and her fans and Mileena and her sais?

Hmm, I kinda dislike how the fatality videos are made. It looks blurry most of the time.. other than that, it's a nice video. Very nice to see some more stages, such as the Courtyard, the Foundry and... the Shipwreck Coast? That was kinda a cool stage, not one I have seen before.

And Kano looks nice. I would have preferred him shaved and bald (my fave look for him), but his outfit looks amazing. His MK3 look was definately the coolest he had, the MKDA-MKA main being the second best. But since MKDA he's just had this scruffy, hairy bear look about him and... I don't like that.

Because pulling them out of their ass is sexy. >_>

Mileena conjures them and Kitana pulls them out of her hair. I don't see the problem there.

Actually, the next character up is Shao Kahn, not Raiden. Shao Kahn is the fifth character on the website (they have been going from left to right starting with Scorpion, then Sub-Zero, Mileena, Liu Kang) and he took Raiden's rank as 5th. Pretty glad he did.

And I have been wondering, Kahn also has six locked pieces of content. Unless they are planning to release very different things for him, he must have a shadow and a reveal wallpaper as well which would mean he HAS fatalities.

No during gameplay Kano pulls his knife out of his boot, then he puts it back in his boot. Kitana's fans and Mileena's sais just appear out of nowhere. Kitana and Mileena's weapons are signatures of theirs, they should have them on their costume like Kano. I know this has been discussed a lot already, but wtf, how are they gonna give that detail to Kano and not Kitana and Mileena? Mileena should have her sais on her boots like Kano and Kitana's fans should be on the back of her belt over her ass, that would be way better than to have some people actually pull their weapons out and then Kitana and Mileena's just appear, wtf?

The uncut version is quite nice, I actually like it a lot

Kitana and Mileena are users of magic. They conjure their weapons from thin air, because then they don't have to rely on sheaths on their outfits. Kano on the other hand is a human from Earthrealm, not widely known to be users of magic though many of them seem to have some sort of super-power (such as Liu Kang's fireballs, Sonya's ring toss etc), and therefore needs to have a sheath for his knives.

Kano has ALWAYS had knife sheathes on his boots. They're there in every single game he's in. People are just noticing them now?

I suppose that is one way to look at it, but then why does Jade hold her staff during gameplay? She is magical just like Kitana and Mileena.

She didn't used to do so, but for some reason they have done so in this game. I'd like to get an explanation on that as well.

It's the same with Shao Kahn though. He has his huge-ass hammer which he conjures when he needs it. Because he is a magic user. That's how I see it.

I wonder if you dont fight in the courtyard you get stabbed those guards looked kinda sketchy ready to stab at a moments notice.

The Courtyard is the best thing that i saw in this game. All stages, in general, are cool.

The Courtyard looks amazing. I liked how the masked guards follow around the arena. The islands in the background look great. One of my favourites so far.

The 2nd arena looked good but it was hard to make out much.

The armory looked like a good update of the original. I reminds me of the new belltower in that not much seems to be going on in it though. You can bet on a stage fatality with the molten metal involved.

Kano looked much better in this video. I like his appearance now I've got a better look at it. The tattoos are a nice addition. Loving his personality with the knife lick and twirl intro.

Nothing new from Liu he still looks good.

Okay so I am pretty much 100% sold on Kano now, I was at 90% before but that intro was just gold!

If that is the wasteland then okay I have nothing left to hold my breath on other than Sheeva

Here is hoping that Dan doesn't go the orchestral route with the Wasteland music or anything up beat. I'm just hoping for some classic ominous MK music.

This game just looks better and better. I've noticed they've put a shit ton of stages in the game. I can't even recognize the majority of them anymore

Can this game get any better?

Arenas look absolutely amazing in this game. The Courtyard? The best remake of it by far. I love how the masked guards are constantly following you, pointing their spears so you do not try to flee the arena. Very nice touch. And I like how the monks attentively look at the fight. I wonder if in-between rounds they clap? Shang is just chilling in the background like the boss he is.

The Wastelands scream destruction, pain, and agony out to me. The shipwrecked boats, the purple lit area, the fires, the Outworld statues are all done incredibly. Being in the shoreline adds a great touch, and if you look at the video closely you can see its coming from the foreground, so it gives the feeling they've just arrived in Outworld or something.

The Armory looks amazing, and I can't wait to see more of it. It looks very similar to the original version in terms of concept, but the addition of the logo, the widened arena, and the large amounts of lava make it a lot more intimidating. I think I see some priests floating in the background (?)

Finally, Kano. Kano, is a motherfucker, straaaaight up. Look at the way he looks at his knife, he's just picturing how he's gonna carve up Liu. I love the knife lick, and I'm almost sure it's a taunt. Kano's costume is perfect for him. I've never been interested in Kano too much, solely because they hadn't given him the right treatment in terms of looks/personality, but just by looking at this video I can tell I'm gonna enjoy playing as him.

I love what I'm seeing of this game, and I love how NRS is stepping it up with their video releases. For all you punks who hate on NRS for not releasing enough videos/pictures/info, Ed and team say hi.
