So...here's a few things I'd like to talk about before I try reading the story mode stuff and melt my brain.

- Sektor is the Grandmaster's son.

- Smoke has a human name now. He's...um...Russian? Prague's in the former Soviet Union, right? What are people from Prague called?

- Kano's backstory seems to have been partially merged with Hsu Hao's?

- Ermac's souls are all from Edenia now. I told you all Drahmin could never be Jerrod. I should've guessed the reason would be that, because Kahn killed Jerrod, Jerrod's soul would be one of the ones inside Ermac. I feel stupid for never thinking of that myself.

- Kabal apparently left the Black Dragon a good chunk of time before MK3 and worked as a cop with Stryker. Huh. That's weird.

- Sheeva and Sindel: "Until Sindel's mysterious death in Earthrealm." Buh? Sindel was the reason Shao Kahn couldn't travel to Earth? I thought that was supposed to be the Elder Gods' doing. I'm not sure I like that, because then it makes you ask "Well didn't Edenia have an MK tournament too? Didn't LOTS of realms have MK tournaments? What was stopping Kahn from just invading all those times?" Or are we now saying that only Earth ever had the tournament? 'Cause that would be new.

- Kintaro: So to explain his looks, they introduced an ethnicity-based caste system into the Shokan. Awesome, always wanted to see something like that. Also, lol at the terms "draco" and "tigrar".

- Kitana finds out her true backstory DURING MK2 instead of before now. Eh, I guess it serves well enough. Makes the telling of a story more interesting to SEE it happen.

- Nightwolf: So...not a historian at all anymore, huh? Now he really is an ancient Indian man. Lovely. Cool though the way they're referencing something Mythologies first suggested: that Raiden is in fact every thunder god in human myth, we all just worshipped him under different names.

- lol @ Havik and Seido references.

- Sektor and Jax were at the MK1 tournament? I call bullshit!

- Sonya's all about daddy issues all of a sudden. Umm...not a fan.

- "Another mystery is the sorcerer's involvement in the Mortal Kombat tournament. The Netherrealm has no stake in its outcome, which leads some observers to question his presence..." lol, Quan's own bio asks the same question the people who don't want him to be in the game are asking.

Pretty much the entire story is in the text file, only a matter of time before someone formats and posts it. I'm still really depressed this leak came out. There have been leaks in MK history, but I think this one takes the cake. Very disappointing this couldn't have been kept under the mat just a little longer.
