I knew that time travel thing was coming! I KNEW IT! It was the only way you could have old and new characters in storywise!

Well folks , I think I now know what I wanted to know.

1. All old characters with "maybe' a few new

2. Not a remake

3. No mention of create a fighter

4. DLC support planned

5. Multiple Fatalities

I have been doing this to myself since Deadly Alliance, I scour the message boards and sites for every piece of news, video and information I can, and by the time I buy the game, I have already seen everything there is to see, so I am officially avoiding this game until its release.

MORTAL KOMBAT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha I really cannot believe this account still exists! It's been so long. I love Mortal Kombat as much as the next guy. I am terrible at fighting games so i don't really love it for the game play. I love it for the story, the originality of the series, and the sheer badass-ness of the game and the characters.

This game seems to deliver on all three! The originality and uniqueness of the series seem s to be preserved. The trailers we have seen and all the interviews confirm that it will no doubt be bad ass.

The story seems to be causing controversy. But lets be honest. The story of the most recent games were so convoluted strange and confusing it was almost impossible to tell heads from tails in terms of what stories are canon what characters endings are actual. The fact is the story couldn't continue. We knew going into Armageddon that the story would most likely end and we would enter a new generation of Mortal Kombat. This is the way to preserve the classic MK cast while also giving us fresh stories for our favorite fighters. I for one couldn't careless if Raiden drove a delorian to 88mph and when back to save himself. If it means were getting a new chaain of events that lead to more games with Sub and Scorpion and Raiden ect I'll buy it.

Maybe THIS will be the MK that decides who stays and who goes from the MK world.
We will find out what endings were real or not I hope.
