Yeah I do agree that Cyrax looks thinner and less bulky than Sektor but it might just be the angle of the pic. Hopefully some gameplay video of Cyrax will prove that. I do love his new design, couldn't ask for more.

At first I hated Cyrax's costume. Then I looked at the bigger versions of the pics, and I think he looks good! I like it because Sektor has always been more like a tank to me (missiles, flamethrower) and Cyrax has always been more of a ninja to me (net, grenades). Therefore, I like the fact that Sektor is a little bit bulkier and Cyrax is sleeker.

Kitana looks cool to me, she's always gonna look like a ho though. I love her hair! I just dont think theres really that much you can do creatively w/ kitana. I dont like the idea of a "royal" look. She needs to look sexy.

Holy hell the Belltower has had some renovations! That place is HUGE!!! i cant freakin WAIT to see the stage fatality.

The desert looks AWESOME. I love how bright it is. I really hope the fighters splash sand around as they jump and fall and stuff. I'm wondering if they're calling it "The Desert" in order to intentionally make it clear that this is different from "Jade's Desert". I would like it if EVERY NOW AND THEN (like 1 out of every 50 fights) Cyrax would appear stuck in the sand.

At first I was disappointed w/ the characters, but I've decided that overall this was a pretty great update. I can't WAIT to see video.

The thing is, almost every character in MKDA-MKA was big and bulky. That was the art style in those games. Cyrax in MK3 wasn't bulky, he was pretty slim.

If you look closely you see that Cyrax only has 4 cables on his head, and Sektor has much more cables.

I'm glad they changed Cyrax's look, and I love it personally. He looks amazing, especially the color.

I think it's time he needed to be changed, he had the same design since mk3 basically. Always same the same helmet. He look better IMO like this.

They both look fine to me but i would love them have a completely different look from their mk3 costumes...for example to set the cyborgs apart they should make cyrax bigger, more bulky and threatening, maybe slower but a powerhouse so that he gave off the idea of a badass SF member! sektor should be the one looking slim and agile as he formed the tekunin and generally he should look more like a ninja than cyrax. I love the goldish colour though and i am sooo glad the green net returned!!
As for kitana, well i always said they should give her a more royal look maybe some pants coz i thought mileena or jade should be the ones wearing those swimsuit looking clothes. one thing i really dont like is her hair! it looks like sindel's hair lol! generally however her look is not bad ofc...its just that we;ve seen that before. i guess she should be an assassin by the timeline of the game so...
anywayz generally i am happy coz the graphics look amazing and the characters are looking pretty good as well!! cant wait for more info :D

This true, this time around cyrax does not look like he weighs 600+ pounds, but it makes me wonder if his smaller frame means that he is more stealthier and ninja like.

He should be thin like a ninja and not a special forces. He isn't a SF till MK4, he shouldn't get all bulky just because they changed his story like that. He's a ninja.

Indeed, could be. I hope that he will feel more flexible when you play him, so the cyborgs will not only look different but also play different. But don't give up, when I saw Sektor in the first trailer, I didn't liked his look (mostly because of the close-up where you could see his front). After seeing the gameplay vid, I was actually exited about him.

Awesome news. I'm kinda digging Cyrax, but it will take me awhile to get used to the new look. The arenas look fantastic. Hopefully we can get some gameplay vid soon. Bring on the chainsaw fatality!!

Wow, I didn't really notice before but what the heck is up with Kitana's fans? Why do they look so cartoony? I dunno, maybe they always have and I'm just seeing something that was always there to begin with.

Overall, I'm cool with the new designs. They probably don't excite me as much because they're not drastic redesigns or overly different interpretations than what we've seen before. But I'm guessing that if they were, a lot more people would be complaining.

Well, plus that and the fact that none of this is as new or exciting as the initial reveal trailer, but that's alright, I definitely like what I'm seeing. Especially the Belltower. I mean WOW. That's the kind of "use the power of next gen to reimagine the past" that I like to see!!

I'm still only luke-warm on the Desert though. I still maintain that having the sky at sunset, with a lot of dark red in it, would've been alot cooler than a plain blue sky during the day. A starry night sky would've been cooler as well. I'm hoping they'll change that, but I'm certainly not expecting it.

Oh well, it may be the worst of the arenas that I've seen so far, but is still looks nice!

As of right now it's probably my favorite stage. But maybe if there were some time shifting going on it would be neat. Like I know Soul Calibur will have multiple versions of the same stage, just at different times of the day. If they did the same thing here it might be neat.

Wow...I like Cyrax for the most part (overjoyed to see the net back, too), but that is way too much yellow. His head is reminding me of Annihilation and nothing good can ever come from that.

And Kitana's hair looks fake as hell. I really wish they'd stop trying to make it look like Sindel's more and more each game.

The design of the fans is crap too, Baraka407's right. They look cartoony. The ones in DA/Armageddon had a knife shape to the blades that was both more realistic and more appealing.

On the complete opposite end of the reaction spectrum, those stages are fucking beautiful. The Belltower is blowing my mind. I too hope for some sort of changing sky day-to-night effect on outdoor arenas like the desert though.
