For outdoor arenas like the Desert I agree that it would be really awesome if the sky and lighting changed from daylight to sunset and nighttime. Would make things different.

best cyrax since ever! Less predator like and more original. Kitana is just hot. Can't believe boon & co is doing perfect with this game... well except cage's chest tattoo :)

As a side note, I love how both the cyberninjas have metal tabi-toed feet.

Cyrax

Wow!!!! First and most important of all:

THE NET IS BACK!!!!!!!!! And it looks awesome!!!! I really hope it has a very cool effect once it captures the opponent. I am so psyched and so happy to see these classic moves returning to all their glory. MKDA is still my face MK game, but one of the biggest flaws of that game was the lack of trademark iconic special moves (and good fatalities).

As for his sleek look: its perfect. I absolutely love his MK3/MKDA/MKA look, but I think this is a nice change. I'm not too sure, but, maybe I like his head/face better in MKA (look at his awesome VS pic), but overall, this look is great. I looooove how he looks so slim and agile. Different from Sektor, but still menacing. Also, I really like that weird symbol in his elbos/arms.

Kitana

Wow!! I'm actually surprised she doesn't look as horrible as she did in the "captured/chained" pictures, but in all fairness, we still can't fully judge by this one picture.

On the positive side: I absolutely love the little details in her costume. Those marks/drawings around her boots and gloves are really really cool. I think it makes her look more "foreign" and even "mystical". I like the high heels (never been against them in females, anyways) and I love how they brought back her MK3 earrings (does Mileena have them back as well?). The gloves are my favorite thing about her costume, they look really cool with those little drawings......actually, the little drawings and details might be the thing I really love about her new look. It makes her look more ninja and cool than the silly flowers she had in MKvsDC.

As for the bad: This is simply a Mileena/Jade rip off in style. I really hate how she now took Jade's look (the long thing) and how her top screams more "Mileena" than "Kitana". And what's up with that hair? The hair looks ugly, but thankfully much much better than MKvsDC (no more stupid ribbon, thankfully). I do like that thing that's holding her hair high though, I think that addition is really nice (and certainly better than that weird ribbon in MKvsDC).

I'm pissed that they simply forgot about her amazing MKDA hair design. IMO, that was the best hair Kitana has ever had. Ever since it has looked plastic, stiff and right down ugly. I don't mean to bitch but its about time they fix that problem. I hope the videos show us a realistic and "alive" hair. But from this angle, the hair style and design is super ugly.

It makes her look like she has an "Alien Skull", that's my problem.

As for the steel fans, I surely hope they look different in the final product. They should had kept the MKDA style or gone back to the MK2/Mk3 days. They look bad in the picture.

I'm sure the mask will look nice, but overall, I'm not impressed with a costume that resembles Jade's and Mileena's looks and styles more than something that should had been original. But on the good side, I think she looks a billion times better than she did in MKvsDC. She looks very pretty!

Beautiful!!! I cannot wait to see more of this arena, it looks fantastic! The level of detail and quality of this game is driving me crazy.

Jade's Dessert

Woooow! I wish we would had gotten more pictures of this arena because it looks absolutely incredible. I have a feeling its going to be very beautiful. I love it!

Mileena, Reptile, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Sektor

Wow. they look much better than when we originally saw them in the first trailer, right? I am in love with the gore, the blood stains, the body/cloth damage, etc.

I also like the Color scheme of them both...Red with minor, Detailed blue lighting...and yellow with minor Detailed Green lighting.

I don't care that much about Kitana but Cyrax looks cool.

Kitana looks awesome and her body is truly sexy again since MK2, her costume is also sexy. Her high heels helped a lot and they seem efficient in fight since they look metal.

As for her hair it is finally loose with a simple crown on her front head. But hopefully her hair won't move in one piece like Sindel did in previous games, Kitana's hair should flow smoothly during the fight, it looks more like Jade without the small ribbons.

But I also don't like her fans a lot, the knifes are too big and dominant whereas the papers should look metal and play a bigger role.
Finally, I really hope her face will look like a beautiful woman and not a teenage girl. I hope her face will look something like that:

I'm glad because my two favorite classic characters are revealed, along with Shang Tsung

Now, can you imagine having the Tower Bell stage fatality again, wow. And Jade's Desert seems to also have a stage fatality, the big sorcery hand in the background looks like one of Shinnok's fatalities, the hand will squeeze the opponent and sinks him down in the sand.

I'm glad Kitana has been confirmed. I'm not so thrilled about Cyrax but it's good to see him nonetheless. I really hope Jade makes it now!

I am Soooooo frustrated with all of this....these are my reasons:

1. everytime the mkteam releases something about the new game, is something fucking AMAZING AND OTHERWORDLY!!! all of my favourite characters have been confirmed right now and I couldnt be happier.

2. There are still 7 long months and I dont know how I can deal with waiting. I know I sound a little bit psycho but I bet some mk fans can understand. this game will be the best GAME in History!!!! Just wait and see.
Thank you Ed boon for making me feel so happy and fucking impatient at the same time!

o and by the way..Kitana looks sexy as hell, I love everything about her new look its just mindblowing!!!

holy crap the sites going slow. ive been trying to get on but it says the server is busy.

Yes finally on! it took over an hour to get on this site every time I tried to go on it would say the MKO servers are busy. And my internet works fine and i tried to go on with 2 different computers but im on now. Ye!, Im glad we got to see Cyrax but that not Cyrax, its Bumblebee! lol. And I hope we could get some renders, I would would like to see Cyrax's face and even Kittanas face.

But most of all some vids would be sick, cant get a lot just from these few pictures. And im loving the net, glad its back. But im not so big a fan of kittanas hair, but im lovin the stages so far.

Haha, forget the new game, the real nostalgia I'm having is the "Server is busy" screen. Reminds me of the Deception days. Can't believe it's been six years since I joined this site.

Still think its funny MKO keeps calling it Games CON....COM, people. COM.

Anyway, loving Kitana's look. Hottness. Hopefully she plays as good or better than in MKvDC. Hope her Fatalities are brutal.

lol ya this site has been crammed with ppl. i couldnt get on for like 2 hours lol. I'm liking what i see. The bell tower seems to be a clock tower now and the desert looks friggin cool. i like how they actually fight in the sand this time. I also like how Cyrax's dreadlocks get cut off and damaged when he gets beat up. (Look at the pic with him and Kitana to see what i mean. This just keeps getting better and better.

P.S. Cyrax def has a more evil feel to him imo. All is as it should be!

I love everything I've seen! I'm completely satisfied with what I've seen up to this point. This is the Mortal Kombat I've been waiting for since MKDA. Every MK after that point got worse for me. Although MKvsDC was a step in the right direction, it still wasn't completely the MK I wanted. This is about to be amazing. Can't wait for a video.
