We got some new footage on the Goro's Lair arena. He has got a throne there, very cool. Sonya attained a good X-ray move.

I also want to point out, that long pause in Sonya's x-ray before she torqued the fuq out of Reptiles neck was pretty cool.

Yes, I enjoyed that as well, except I miss the "buzz" and "zap" sounds from MK3.

I'm SO fucking ecstatic about having seen Sonya's X-Ray. This is one of the highlights I've been waiting for since I first glimpsed the feature at E3. It's excellent!! The neck-snap is stylish and brutal at the same time, and then she just goes into a big show-off mode for the rest of the move lol Couldn't think of a much sexier way to shatter someone's skull than Leg-Grabbing them midair and lettin' 'em have it.

I'm very intrigued about her X-Ray startup. We already know each character has a unique setup to the X-Ray move (like Johnny's parry). Because Sonya's is a combo, I'm thinking you can link her X-Ray to a normal combo. This would make it a very dangerous move, because it would mean that the only way to avoid being hit by her X-Ray is to not get hit at all - otherwise, BAM, you're getting punched one second, and your head's going 360 the next. More evidence to this is that she started the X-Ray with different pokes each time she did it. On Cyrax it was a hook, on Reptile it just one of her normal jabs, and then she just flew into the beatdown. So yeah, I'm pretty sure we'll be able to combo into her X-Ray, like with Sektor! Killer!!!

This was very likely an older build. "Sonya" was considered a big reveal, when the fact of the matter is, she's been shown for a while now. Same with Jax, who was also mentioned by Boon as if he was new. I'm thinking this was filmed way back when Sonya was first given to those magazines, was supposed to be her in-game footage reveal, but G4 scheduled it to be shown just now. So I'm pretty convinced (or maybe, hopeful) that she's a lot more polished now, and come PAX East, we'll see all her specials and hopefully a Fatality *drools*

There must be some guys on the MK team that are wrestling fans. The females having German Suplexes in MK2, Hurricanranas in MK3, Raidens Powerbomb in MK4, Cyrax's Piledriver in his X-Ray, Sonyas Hurricanrana and then Liu Kangs Sweet Chin Music for his X-Ray lol

Ahhh my beautiful Sonya! Her xray is fukin sick. I love it, BUT it makes me wonder why some characters, such as poor Mileena, get such an uncreative xray. Which leads me to conclude that it ain't final and she will get a different one

I keep thinking I'm seeing something in the far left of Goro's lair, but it's hard to say. Perhaps that's Kintaro and not Goro on the throne. Hard to say because my computer struggles with the HD quality, so I have stream the lower resolution.

Maybe he is talking about Goro? we had him on the x-ray video but who knows... or maybe on the darker said of the lair is something... or one of the fighters of the pit is Sareena has speculated some days ago... there is a second where you can see Kahn's stage but the camera never shows the red chained girl, so she doesn't appear in the video.

Maybe the hidden charcter is Sareena fighting frost in the background.

And I'm loving the blood effects again... In the shot right after Sonya's first appearance, when Sub does his ice sword on Scorpion, there's an awesome spout of blood. Muwahahah
