The best line in that entire trailer was

"Sure, let's go ruin somebody else's life."

Trailer was fantastic. I'm glad the game still retains a bit of that cheeky humor, especially considering Cage's natural characteristics.

I believe it was Shadaloo who said that there really ought to be a Church of Cage. The man can do no wrong. Every single thing he says or does in this game is made of 100% organic,concentrated win.

3. To the two people wondering how would Scorpion's victory "pose" work out.
There's nine layers (or levels) of Hell, not in the game, don't get that confused, but in various medias like books and games, there's nine layers of Hell. Scorpion falling into a different layer is not strange to me at all if you hold onto that logic.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, since I haven't read the thread beginnig to end but, for those of you who like to pick apart the retcons in this game...

In the MK1 story scenes, If you pause the video about the time he's asking Sonya out to dinner, you can see Baraka, Kitana & Jade standing beside Shang Tsung's throne in the background.

It's also been speculated that MK9 takes place in a parallel universe where anything goes. lol

Plenty of people like the classic costumes and fatalities for nostalgia. Just like everyone get's excited for 19 year old stages.

I don't hear you complaining "these stages are clones of old stages" or "I hate when characters share fatalities." Why the fuck only repeated costumes from MK-MK3 set your blood to boil in a game that takes place during MK-MK3 is beyond me. But shared fatalities, rehashed stages, and stages that are exactly the same but set at day/night go passed your radar of stupid rants. Oh I know why, it's because you're biased, stupid, and ignorant.

Why the fuck is it such a fucking world ending notion to you for there to be classic costumes that go with all the rest of the classic settings?

I don't know why you're still here and the mods haven't deleted your ass if all you do is log on and start fuckin' wars repeating yourself over and over and over and over irritating the living daylights out of everyone. Guess what, everyone knows you don't like the classic costumes for all the characters that use to be pallet-swap ninjas. But I haven't heard a peep about Jade, Kitana, and Mileena's UMK3 pallet-swaps from you. Hmm how can someone so passionate about pallet-swaps miss that one?

Who gives a shit if someone want's the nostalgia of any of their favorite characters to go with the rest of this nostalgic game? You did notice this game is a remake of games that started in the early 90's right? If someone hasn't played a MK game since MK2 and they want to play as their favorite character from that era and go the extra mile play as that character the way he/she use to play as him - more power to them for wanting the full nostalgic effect. It's anyone's preference if they want to go old school or try something new.

You however make it a negative thing for fans (hardcore and casual) who want to relive the days when Mortal Kombat was actually GOOD to the fullest degree. There is nothing wrong with having a preference, and it's fine you like the new, but you are always relentlessly derogatory towards those who want to relive the classic by using a costume. You are the only one that is *relentless* in making classic costumes seem like they're an issue when they aren't at all. Everyone still gets to pick their preference, and even change it up for a day if they choose. It doesn't change fighting mechanics, no one is forcing you to use them, and it doesn't cost you a damn thing to use their standard default costumes if you don't like the classics!

Apparently the notion of choice is foreign to Milaana, as are advanced pejorative phrasal constructs to most of the forumites here.
