Best gameplay trailer yet. He is just amazing!
This is going to be the longest week of my life.

Shang Tsung looks disgusting!!! I'm so stoked for Tuesday. One thing I noticed, though---when he morphed into his opponent, he didn't seem to use any of their special moves? This could just be the clips they chose to use, so who knows.
In his trailer he morphs into Johnny Cage and he does the crotch punch, so hopefully he's capable.

Also they didn't show his air skull fire move that was shown in that ghetto looking bootleg video.

He uses soul steal to wither you, then grabs your ribs and breaks them inward, then knees you in the face.

Wow, Shang looks insanely fun to play as, and I've never enjoyed playing as him before. Ground skulls look good, the straight skulls look really fast for a change, and I'm loving all the soul steal moves because it's nice to see that he has more than one now. They've made him into such an evil bastard in this game, I can't wait to get my hands on story mode.

Wow! Thanks for the update.

There's so many news around that I'll just post in fast detail:

1) His gameplay looks fun.
2) His special moves look great, specially the soul steal attacks.
3) That X-Ray looks a bit off to me. I think its because its not shown completely, but, the crushing ribs+soul steal is fantastic.
4) I'm still not digging his look. He doesn't look nearly as evil or powerful as he did before.

5) Biggest disappointment: The fatality looks weak. The mist into which he transforms looks so generic and weak. Its like a regular special effect without any real power to it. I am disappointed to see that he doesn't even actually "go in" with smooth animation. It just vanishes in the air.

Maybe I'm just being too picky, but, I kind of expected it to be better. Oh well. Still have the other half to see before making any final judgements.

So far, I'm loving Shang Tsung, though I do wish he would look more interesting in his "young form". Old Tsung looks so much better, and still, not nearly as awesome as MKSM or MKDA Tsung.

What this one seriously needs is the MK3 make up to look better.

Shangs the man.....much improved...now he doesn't have to rely on his morphing abilities as much..his regular moves can hold there own....didn't know there was a different statue for the KE edition in Europe/Spain though..cool....might have to grab that of of eBay at some point

Fantastic. I love the new voice actor. This is the first time I've really seen Shang as a compitent villain since the first movie.
