This could be a good hint to having alternates, confirming Scorpion and classic costumes. Maybe that also alludes to it being a Reboot?

This is actually a reply to me, which I thought was cool. The only thing that concerned me was he didn't disagree to no news coming. I may be reading too much into it but I am pessimistic.

IMO he is just giving very vague answers and any conclusions you are jumping to are due to your own desire for information and concrete answers. All those answers were neither saying yes or no, but merely giving the possibility for it to happen. I could ask him if friendships will be in, and he says possibly, that in no way means it's hinted at or is likely. It's Boon being Boon...keeping us guessing and interested,,,don't take anything he says as some sort of innuendo that it's in the game.

MK wouldn't suit SF4s style.
It would be amazing in Gears of War stylee graphics. Darker and realistic.

i thought the same thing before but i thought about it logically and it would probably ruin some aspects of MK. some parts of Mk are vibrant in color as to other parts that are not...like the costumes of some characters. the style would fit for fatalities perfect though i think. is just my opinion but anything would be better than the cartoony look of street fighter or any of the other fighters that copy cat the cartoon style. i like the style of AvP...that game had some awesome graphical eye candy.
anyways...Boon said that the game is going in another direction and that direction in a sense could lead anywhere at this point but we know its not anything like SF4.

thats stupid for anyone to want mk to look like sf. mk is realistic with exaggerated blood. sf is stylish cartoony anime. both do well in their own styles.

but mk would do alright in gears of war style, msg, gow3, heavy rain......... realistic,bloody,dark, fantasy.

Hopefully this is just stating he is having a bad day as a general statement and not a cryptic message meaning that MK9 will not be at E3. I ponder this as thinking 3 as representing E3 and 10 representing the year 2010. I would like to think its just a general statement saying he had a bad day and he rated it on a 1 to 10 scale and his day rates at a 3.

I think the last part, just a rating on how bad the day was. Hopefully not connected to MK9.

Tough I think an announcement should be coming soon, E3 is almost there..can't imagine them waiting for E3 to release info. Either way .. we will be getting something soon.

I wouldn't get too excited about things or disappointed. I firmly believe now that we aren't getting info for months yet. Definitely not this month. Pretty sure not at E3 now either.

and as for Boon's bad day, everyone has them. Doubt it has anything to do with this elusive and non existent game.

What makes you believe that it won't be at E3? One of the other developers, can't remember who, recently posted on his Twitter saying that they were getting everything ready for E3.
