I'm loving all the new features and extras!

So excited to see more videos of "Test your Balance" and all the other new mini games that they hinted about.

I'm really impressed with the whole "using the touch screen to play" in the new challenge tower (such as cleaning the blood from the screen and stopping that huge head from growing and growing).

Can't wait to see more. Awesome update!

PS: Extra costumes for the DLC characters? Fantastic!

Extra/more costumes for all the other male/female ninjas who already got a ton of extra costumes?.......absolute bullshit.

Well if you give all the male ninjas MK3 costumes (and Mileena an MK2 costume) plus the DLC characters, You only have 11 out of 16 supposed costumes.

So characters like Jax, Sonya, Kabal etc still have a chance at getting alts as well.

Yeah, I think it's safe to say I'm going to buy this.

The combination of the new challenge tower (with DLC characters included), new costumes, new gameplay, and new artwork is definitely worth it, for me anyway.

And as for the costumes, we have six confirmed:
1.) Skarlet's disappearing alt (if they didn't scrap this design)
2.) Kenshi's alt
3.) Rain's alt
4.) Freddy's alt
5.) Classic Sub-Zero
6.) MK2 Mileena

Yeah, seems like they're unleashing all the things we were asking for back in September or whenever that was.

It's a real shame the "Komplete" version for consoles will be lacking these extras, but it will certainly make getting a PSV a lot more appealing.

and do some other people's retro costumes, stop doin all these fuckin ninjas like thats the only chars yall got, hell give the OGs the mk1 or mk3 OG costumes like sonya or liu kang.

Now I want a PSVita

It looks pretty good, overall. While the reduction of polygons is noticeable, it still looks great for a handheld console. The loading times also seem much improved over the PSP, something that MK Unchained really suffered for.

The new features look fun. Usually I'm against anything gimmicky, but it seems to have been handled nicely. I'm also glad there are more alternate costumes, though that probably just translates to "16 more half assed ninja palette swaps". Hopefully the costumes for the DLC characters come to consoles.

This looks awesome. I'm glad I'm getting the Vita, and I'm glad this game isn't dropping til spring, so I can wait for the Vita's price drop (which I'm sure will happen quickly). Also a few notes:

-Polygon reduction reminds me of Unchained, it's a lsight put off
-New Challenge Tower missions look really fun
-More ninja costumes? Sorry Queve, but I'm all for this
-Playable bosses? Meh.

Hopefully we'll still have online play, not exactly sure if that's gonna happen, but it'd be pretty great.

Really NRS, you couldn't have offered these for the original game as DLC? Screw you then. SCV is out so I don't care nearly as much as I would have.

But, if they have the designs, and only need a change of texture quality from vita to ps3... will they release the dlc character costumes for ps3?

I hope they do, the 150 new challenges look cool (and I don't think Shao will be playable outside the tower as he still can't jump without special moves) but I don't think I can afford to buy the same game for 2 platforms just for the extras.

As cool as these new features are, I still don't feel any strong desire to buy a Vita just for one game. It probably won't happen, but I hope the new costumes are eventually made for the PS3/360 version.

Also, that UMK3 Reptile had better have green skin, like his MK4 alt. That'd just make it so much more appealing.
