Also, that UMK3 Reptile had better have green skin, like his MK4 alt. That'd just make it so much more appealing.

I think if they wanted to stay true to the UMK3 costumes they would make him the regular color.

I don't expect them to make Reptile have green flesh in his UMK3 costume.

No. No, it doesn't.
Graphics aren't as good but it's not like these ones are bad, they're great for a handheld console. I'm more concerned about the fact that this one is sweeter than the home version, screw lower graphical quality....more content > better graphics

So we don't get any of these alternates for the DLC characters?
Total bullshit.
Total bullshit.

Nobody said they wouldn't be released for the consoles.

They kind of gave it away with a few things, like saying console DLC was finished, and that they were trying to make MKVita unique. Regardless, if you guys want the costumes, just shut up and get the Vita version, that's why they're there, to entice you. If they just handed them out as regular DLC, that's one less thing to hook potential Vita buyers.
Also, I wish they stuck with the "Vitality" sub-title, sounded pretty cool.

Given the Vita-exclusive features and revamped challenge tower, it's at least worth speculating that the additional costumes might find their way to console versions of the game. A timed exclusive, along the lines of the klassic costumes (which went to stores before being widely available). Hopes may be dashed, but we haven't exactly heard either way, vis-a-vis Komplete Edition.

Yes...spend over a hundred dollars on a system and one game...for costumes. Seriously? We all don't have the luxury of shelling out over a hundred dollars at wiil for content that should be released on mainstream consoles too, shortly after its Vita release..
All this means is they make less money off of most people and these should be released as DLC for the systems anyway. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't waste it on a handheld system(I don't want one)
It's a bit silly that the handheld version of games have better content than the mainstream console releases. Komplete Edition should at least have all these new costumes out of the box.

That would actually be logical at least. Everything on the Vita should at least be in the Komplete Edition, otherwise....the name should be changed.

They probably wont release this stuff for the ps3 or 360 because in the video he says they made and designed these costumes exclusively for the vita. Exclusively is a key word there.

I would laugh if someone is derpy enough to buy the Vita version just for some costumes.

I agree about the Komplete Edition comment. It would make no sense to call it such, if it is indeed missing the alt stuff, that the vita version has. Mainly talking about the new outfits and such.

Eh... no. The Komplete Edition is complete. The content in the Vita version is extra.

That doesn't even make sense.....a game that doesn't have all the content that was released for said game is complete? That's objectively false....
I looooove this!
Can't wait to see more of "Test your Balance" and that other secret mini game.
The new missions in Challenge tower look fun! That Raiden with the huge head looks great and I think Mikey-Ryu is going to be super happy about seeing Sonya VS Freddy in that "Freddy is coming for you" Mission.
Motor Kombat II, perhaps?
I hope you are right.
Even if all these alt costumes don't make it as DLC for the consoles, it would be nice to finally see some kind of variety. The ninjas getting "everything" has gotten extremely boring and annoying. There's over 20 characters in the game, NRS, its not all about the rainbow pallet-swaps.
I don't even care if my main favorites don't get any new costumes, I just want to see some variety for a change and some of the many "I'm not a ninja-looking character" getting a slice of well deserved attention. Period.

Well if you give all the male ninjas MK3 costumes (and Mileena an MK2 costume) plus the DLC characters, You only have 11 out of 16 supposed costumes.
So characters like Jax, Sonya, Kabal etc still have a chance at getting alts as well.

No, and that's what a lot of people don't get about DLC.
DLC isn't part of the main game. Therefore, any additional content which wasn't available on the game when it was relased is extra.
The game was "complete" the moment you bought it. EDIT: And just to make myself clear: I'd love to have the additional costumes on the console version as much as anyone else, but if we don't get them is fine too. I'm not trying to start a rant war here.
Okay, you can think whatever you want, I'm not going to argue about it. They called it the "Komplete Edition" not me...so everything should be included. The original game was just called Mortal Kombat, so if it didn't have all the DLC out the box I would have nothing to say about it because they wouldn't be advertising it as such.

I was already planning to get a Vita and MK9 before I found out the game was going to have a new challenge tower and new costumes, so I'm quite happy.
I'll probably get the Wi-Fi Vita and a 8GB memory stick. Can't wait to play this on the go and during lunchbreaks.

Probably "Edition with Additional Kontent!" sounded stupid.
And one more time, I'm not trying to argue with you (or with anyone else, for that matter), but I'd consider the game to be "incomplete" if during my first Story Mode playthrough I reached the last chapter to get a screen saying "if you want to know how this ends, buy The Final Chapter DLC - Just $5 on PSN".
