They managed to keep Raiden hidden for all this time, even though he was the 2nd official person revealed in the original trailer, only in cutscene rather than in-game. A month and a half to go, and it's a bout time we start showing off some awesomeness that is Raiden. Can't wait.

As I said in the other thread, I am a little pissed Raiden came before Kahn despite of the facts that they went from character to character and Kahn's rank was higher than Raiden's for at least two weeks now. They should have just put him on the sixth spot and never introduced this ridiculous ranking game.

Other than all that, Raiden's shadow looks pretty awesome and I guess they are saving the best for last.

It usually takes them a month to get all the stuff out for one character. January was Mileena month, Feb has been Liu month, I'm a little surprised we're getting the Raiden wallpaper before March 1st, but all the better. Means he'll be done before March is over.

Oh, I'm confident he'll have the staff in some form. My one small hope is that the god uppercut fatality gets a re-imagining. I can live without it, but I think they could do something epic with that.

I never knew that until today. I was just playing MK2 for Genesis on my PSP and saw that Raiden's name was writen "Rayden" and I was like WTF? Guess you learn something new everyday.
