Yeah but a new episode of gametrailer's tv doesn't air till march 10th so it's not this week.

They didn't do a "what would you do with" series video for Liu Kang, I'm calling it now...

"What would you do with Raiden's teleport?" to be in one of the updates.


Anyway it's great that thunder god finally gets his chance to shine. One of my all time favorites since MK1. Electrocution fatalities never get old!

I for one am hoping for his MK1 fatality remake, the head electrocution exploding fatality.

And still,I am not sure that we will get first Raiden video before that,so my Baraka theory is living

I can't wait to see how they handle Raiden's stuff in this game. If they were able to improve Noob Saibot, an already cool character in my book, but someone who did need some work, there's gotta be some wonderful things in store for mah boi Raiden.

Yeah.. not to be a Debby Downer... but I was hoping for something more exciting than Raiden being revealed this week.... He hasnt changed AT ALL since MK1... and what ever happened to him being sort of bad after he sacrificed himself to try and end the deadly alliance?? Was that story line just completely dropped?

I just hope the BIG announcement this week isn't just a Raiden vid. Still so excited for him.

In theory, he should start this game off as Dark Raiden, and "send the message" to earlier Light Raiden.

Again to note; Raiden was never evil. Just alot less tolerant in the Dark Raiden form.

With that being said, Dark Raiden and MK1 Light Raiden are very similar in personality. This should be very interesting.

Ok, quick, who just Youtubed Raiden's MK I fatality? I did! Quite frankly, though, I like the SNES version better.

Sorry ive always hated Raiden and thought he was boring since MK1. I would of MUCH rather had a character like Sonya, Kitana, Jax, Stryker, Jade... you know... someone that actually matters getting a reveal.

Matter of opinion.

Turing Liu Kang's body into a zombie that goes on a monk-killing rampage? Pretty evil. Striking a "I'll stop Taven if you promise not to conquer Earth" bargain with Shao Kahn? Kinda evil.

The ends do not justify the means, especially if the means and the ends both involve the murders of good men.

Raiden is arguably the most important character and pitovtal to the story, so.... not seeing "he doesn't matter" point.

Raiden doesn't deserve a reveal, it's not like he's having any kind of impact on the story in the upcoming game.

Raiden is not... nor has he ever been evil.

Becoming more ruthless, more intolerant, and wearing black clothes does not make you evil. Malcom X did the same thing.

Ressurecting Liu Kang is strange, he did use dark magic to do it, but that doesn't make him evil. He also brought Cage back from the dead and nobody called him evil then, did they?

The purpose to ressurect Liu Kang is different from the one of Cage
