I'm pretty glad that they aren't using the UMK3 outfits...as of yet. Scorpion proved it looks pretty failtastic in MKD and MKA. Who knows though? Perhaps they can put a spin on it to change my mind.

I thought he only came with pre-order of kollectors and tournament, but this says he comes with all pre-orders as well regardless. Meh, sure we'll get some confirmation.

Ahh...interesting! I still wish Ermac was dark-skinned like he was in UMK3. It just looked a lot better against his outfit colors.

I wonder how detailed the battle damage will be on these costumes. For instance, for Reptile, wouldn't it be cool to see his human "skin" being torn around his arms, revealing his green skin underneath?

People always complain about the fact that things aren't historically accurate to the MK mytho, and yet you are thinking this is confirmation that Rain, Smoke, and Noob Saibot aren't in the game? It wouldn't make sense for those characters to have retro outfits. None of them were in the original MK, in any form.

I don't feel it confirms the lack of any of those characters because like it says in the news post, Ermac's costume wasn't even shown until several weeks after the first three, and that's because Ermac had not yet been announced.

The other male ninja may not get these throwbacks, but I would say the main reason you don't see anything yet is because those characters simply have not been officially unveiled.

Definately will be using Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Ermac's costumes when they all come out evantually for DLC.

Quick question, but thinking about Reptile's retro costume, isn't it going to a bit silly how he is going to fight? I mean it looks really good in the game due to him being an actual reptilian ninja, and those kicks/punches he does look good with THAT costume. Not too sure how it'll look.

Man, those costumes are hideous. However, I'll definitely use Ermac's because his in-game one is ugly. Oh and Reptile's too because of nostalgia.

I'm very very interested by how Reptile looks completely human in this costume. I wonder: during the fight, does his human skin rip off to show the reptilian scales underneath???

After seeing these outfits, now I'm almost positive that Mileena's alternate costume will show her with normal human eyes instead of tarkatan eyes.

I want these costumes to be more than just the ninjas. I want a throwback costume of Johnny Cage in MK1. He's been Officially announced, so where's my costume NRS!?

I'm glad to see Reptile back in his MK1 appearance. Whilst NRS has the option to declude Smoke, Noob and Rain from the retro costume collection with the excuse that the mask is from MK1, I think they could still give them the same treatment. The MK characters' looks have varied before, as brought up in the other topic, and they could vary now as well.

You don't need to preorder in fact to get Ermac, he comes with the Kollector Edition (and I think that with Tournament edition too but I'm nto sure right now). So if you preorder a kollector edition, you get 2 classics, Ermac and another one.

Maybe we won't see the other ninjas as classic because this ones were the ones who appeared on the original game, subby, scorp on the roster, reptile as a hidden, and ermac as an error macro, according to Ed he put him on the game to do testing. But who knows, maybe we are getting every ninja in classic outfit, but I doubt that we would get classics for every character, probably only the palette swap based (again, maybe I'm wrong).

The costumes look cool, really hope we get these in the UK at some point.

To me, Ermac looks by far the best so far in MK 2011.

These classic costumes are rather "meh" to me, I prefer the new ones, except maybe for Scorpion.
