Lol I always knew subzero would kill scorpion in the end, I love how nightwolf's arrow is still in sheeva and how characters were shown killed by their allies (not all but most that are known). Lol at baraka getting it the worst, I bet is was probably quick though.
the one thing that bother me is the ice sword in scorpions back, for two reasons
1. Subzero was the grandmaster of the lin kuei and was much powerful than he is now and it is thought that he made that big ass ice sword he had for deception and armageddon with his new power from some kind of medallion or some shit he got from sektor who killed the grandmaster for it. So why is that dinky little ice sword stuck in Scorps back that some how killed him even though when sub grab some one that thing barely does any damage on anybody and it melts after like 5 seconds.
2. WHY HASN'T IT MELTED? did everyone die like 5 minutes before the into starts or something?

Waaaait a minute...I'm watching the feed and they have literally replaced Pit I with Pit II, it's actually a location on Shang Tsung's island. I mean, I know they already said that when they released the bio video for it on Youtube, but I thought that was just erroneous promotional material, I didn't think we'd literally see the stage used during the MK1 part of the story mode.
It made sense when it was in Outworld in MK2, but the fucking island? How does that even work with the vast span of volcano, mountains, and castles in the background? How big an island is it supposed to be?

Yea that is a bit disappointing. I was really hoping for the pit I as dlc as it was my favorite stage ever, but I guess it has been stricken from existence.

It wooould have to be a huge island, but islands are hotbeds of tectonic activity, and volcanoes are a result of that. It makes sense from an geological perspective I guess.

Shang likes it big. And hot, lol.

Who's the ninja wearing black after the dead Sheeva pic(The character with Shao Kahn)

That's Raiden, in different armor and he's missing his hat.
He's here at ~28:40.
I didn't know who that was at first either. Had to watch the video again.

I must admit after seeing the carnage...I am so glad Raiden changed the past. Even if it was for the worst, lol.

Well the volcano alone doesn't bother me.
But the mountain range and castles go on forever and there's no shore in sight. It doesn't look like an island location, it looks landlocked for miles. Because in the original MK2, it was because it was in Outworld, and they kept the look accurate. If they were gonna change where it's located, they should've changed the backdrop some.

It's funny you say that, because the second I saw the Armageddon pyramid, I got that bad feeling I associate with that game. I'm all in favor of undoing it.

That's what I'm sayin', it's too big. How's he keep the place a secret if it's the size of Hawaii now?

One of these days, I'm gonna be able to nitpick something without "a wizard did it" being the answer. One of these days!

I kind of always interpreted it as magic, honesty. It may be due to bias because of the movie, but I don't think it's so farfetched that an evil sorcerer could be shrouding his island so no one would discover the deathmatch parties he's been throwing for hundreds of years.

Outworld magic, to be exact. ;P

It was always magic and I already knew it. Shang's island is a Bermuda Triangle-like spot that switches between Earthrealm and Outworld.
Like Yin-Yang island in Deception except not dumb lookin' or with crappy background music.
I'm just sayin' I don't like the switching of the Pits. They could've at least remodeled it so you can see the shore in the background or not used it in story mode so its location wouldn't matter. The scene between Sonya, Johnny and Kano could've taken place at Shang's Garden, there's a bridge there.
