Hmm . . .in my opinion I don't think they should that time around but if it comes down to guest characters than sure those guys seem cool.

I'd prefer MK VS Samurai Shodown over MK VS Soul Calibur.

There's also blood and finishing moves in Samurai Shodown. The characters are also much more cooler and darker than those in Soul Calibur.

Well since I started this I might as well keep people updated on this subject. Basiclly recently Ed Boon tweeted this to Seth Killan

Ed Boon To Seth: Yes, great catching up with you too. Looking forward to our first MKvsSF meeting. 1st order of business: MKvsSF or SFvsMK.

Could be trolling but who knows right lol, Anyway I'll keep you guys updated on this possibility of a game.

Would love to see this happen. I'm a fan of Street Fighter and a huge fan of MK and have been with both since the beginning. With Capcom currently hurting a little bit (like the rest of the japanese game market at least according to a recent article I read) , and both SF's and MK's recent return to form, we could just get it.

I would want it to be MK style though. That may be a problem for Capcom as they have always balked at the idea of having fatalities done to the SF characters.... and that was before the damage modeling and the X-ray moves.

Time will tell I guess.

It may not be the most popular suggestion (then again popularity isn't my primary concern) but does anyone think it could work as a T-rated game? It wouldn't have to be like MKVDCU, where the gore truly was minimal. It could be like the animated adaptation of SF2, which could be gruesome at times, but even though it wasn't exactly comparable to MK's style, it'd be violent enough to keep the action intense.

I'd love for the game to be M-rated, but I have no aversion to a lower rating. Although, can you imagine just how spectacularly gruesome Akuma/Gouki's Shun Goku Satsu (raging demon) could be in a M-rated game?

I was also thinking that SF characters wouldn't necessarily need fatalities, as they could get something equivalent to them through super moves instead. If Ryu and Akuma defeated their opponents with a Super Shoryuken, for instance, you could see the opponents getting scarred like Sagat, gorily so just like in the animated movie. Ken's however, would leave a burning scar. Whether the opponent dies from these attacks or not would be up to the developers.

Another update guys & it looks like it could be true even a little more . . .

Well it looks more like it's coming true as someone pointed out the Ed boon statement to Seth to Ono & he said "I can not be created: to achieve "" Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter. "Die in the shooting of trailer If that happens, then maybe would it be? Capcom is fun to interact with Mr. Ed Boon

In translation I think he said He isn't in the creative position to announce a game like that yet cause if he did he would get murked during the announcement But Capcom has been talking to Ed Boon" He even gave a Japaneses website about it here = http://doope.jp/2012/0221595.html

In Translation the web site say, Sorry for the corrupt English . ..

Is NetherRealm that are being advanced that some of the current new unpublished, father of Mr. Ed Boon Mortal Kombat series familiar yesterday, has become a hot topic remark anxious to show on Twitter.

It is for that at the 15th Interactive Achievement Awards will be held in "DICE Summit" last Sun, Mortal Kombat was awarded the department GOTY fighting game, Capcom's Seth Killian from Mr. congratulations were conveyed directly is revealed, Mr. Ed Boon is this festive "We look forward to meeting, the challenge is the first" Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter "first" Street Fighter "or whether" Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter We said "It is". Mortal Kombat vs, what is holding up the dialogue this really or do you returned in the remarks Mr. Ed Boon favorite joke surprisingly is nifty to pleasantries, authenticity is unknown at present is.

The only franchise that has been achieved in collaboration beyond the boundaries of developers already the title of one, where the trend is anxious to realize a dream showdown.

Well could it be happening!!!

I do not understand what is Ono trying to say. The whole Interactive Achievement Awards Show is up on youtube, it's 2 hours long, can anyone watch it and confirm that Boon mentioned MK VS SF?

I would love for each company to make their own version in their own style. How do you all think they would do it? As far as fatalities go and supermoves go?

Capcom version will probably do the super part .

NRS will do the fatalities.

As far as game play I believe both SF4 & MK9 have ex moves if I'm not mistaken. But yeah . . .

Perfect list:

Sub-Zero - Ryu

Scorpion - Ken

Sonya - Cammy

Liu Kang - Fei Long

Kano - Cody

Raiden - Gouken

Goro - Zangief

Shang Tsung - Gen

Mileena - Juri

Kitana - Chun Li

Jax - Balrog

Baraka - Vega

Reptile - Blanka

Kung Lao - Rufus

Smoke - Akuma

Noob - Evil Ryu

Skarlet - Ibuki

Shao Kahn - M. Bison

Stryker - Guile

Nightwolf - T. Hawk

Human Cyrax - Dee Jay

Quan Chi - Seth

Bo' Rai Cho - E. Honda

Mokap - Dan

Li Mei - Sakura

Good list. Subzero Scorpion, Ryu and ken. Main characters in both games. Ryu is blue element fireballs while ken is fire based like scorpion is.

Your list is literally almost perfect to me in terms of matchups. I would makes switches though.

Johnny Cage - Dan. They are both kind of joke characters but are also classics in their respective games. Cage is a much better choice in the game then crappy mokap too. They both have steep learning curves.(dan and cage)

Kintaro- Sagat. (both huge and tall characters, both sub-bosses before final boss and its tiger stripe kintaro back vs tiger uppercut and tiger knee lol.

I can see a perfect gross fatality for Chun Li - she leg stabs them, then does her lightning kick, sending guts/pieces everywhere!!!

This game would be perfect to bring back the MKT version of Brutalities except add a lot more to them to make them funner to achieve.

Also, this game would be the perfect intro for Tag-Team Fatalities:
1. Sub Zero/Ryu - Freeze/Shattering Hurricane Kick
2. Scorpion/Ken - Get over Here/Dragon Uppercut Decapitation
3. Kitana/Chun Li - Fan Stab/Blender Spinning Bird Kick
4. Sonya Blade/Cammy - Diagonal Bike Kick/Decapitating Thrust Kick
5. Baraka/Vega - Torso Stab/Izuna Drop Torso Rip
6. Kintaro/Sagat - Four-armed grab/Mutilating Tiger Uppercut
7. Jade/Poison - Impale/Whip each limb off one-by-one, then both do pole dance
8. Liu Kang/Fei Long - Cartwheel Uppercut/Spinning Flame Kick Engulf
9. Johnny Cage/Dan Hikibi - Johnny Cage shoves his Oscar in the gut of opponent/Dan Dragon Uppercuts the torso off, Cage grabs his Oscar back and both leave an autograph and fight over being the front posing winner
10. Reptile/Blanka - Tongue around neck and pull twards/Blanka Electric Charge Rolls the feet out from under opponent, then Reptile pulls head off
11. Sindel/Rose - Hair Grab/Sleeve Grab and rip torso in half
12. Kabal/El Furte - Kabal grabs opponent and runs in a fast ongoing circle like Flash in MKvsDC/El Furte takes his frying pan out and molds it into the opponent's face/skull
13. Shao Khan/M. Bison - Hammers Opponent's chest sending him flying into Bison's Psycho Crusher, cutting them in half at the torso
14. Jax/Guile - Earthquake Juggle/Vertical Slicing Flash Kick
15. Mileena/Ibuki - Target Practice: Nail Spit/Hasninsho (air knifes)
16. Kung Lao/Guy - Kung Lao spins his hat in place in air/Guy does his flip/slam throw move onto the hat vertically slicing them in half with his force
17. Shang Tsung/Akuma - Ground Spikes/Grab & Roll & Throw into the air onto the spikes
18. Raiden/Gen - Torpedo Torso/same time air bike kick allowing Raiden to fly off with torso
19. Tanya/Elena - Split Kick/Torso Ripping Flip Kick
20. Noob Saibot/Twelve - He and Clone holds opponent/Twelves whiplike arm slices them up vertically

How on earth could we find a GOOD match for both Cyrax/Sektor???????

I've been wanting to see this crossover for a long time being a fan of SF and MK. I mean if Street Figther and Tekken can do it, why not MK vs SF?

I wouldn't mind it being T-Rated thought it would be cool for it to be M-Rated.

It would be cool to see MK in SF graphics.

u never asked yourself how MK would look like if they made it Anime?? SF's art style is kinda anime-ish, except for SF4 calligraphic strokes style. maybe they could mix both art styles (capcom & NRS) and make 1 new style.

That would be epic if they did, It would be the first Crossover fighting game were 2 compaines combine there art styles into one. cause they didn't do it with SNK or Namco.
