u never asked yourself how MK would look like if they made it Anime?? SF's art style is kinda anime-ish, except for SF4 calligraphic strokes style. maybe they could mix both art styles (capcom & NRS) and make 1 new style.
That would be epic if they did, It would be the first Crossover fighting game were 2 compaines combine there art styles into one. cause they didn't do it with SNK or Namco.
I like Street Fighter, I like Mortal Kombat and the two of them have alot in common gameplay wise, but if they were to make a crossover game with those two, then it would probably be rated T for Teen like Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe.
I can't imagine the Street Fighters to get their limbs torn off or be gory at all. I doubt Ryu would even want to do something like that to his opponent, it would be against his character personality to be like that. So it would have to be Teen rated if it is going to happen which would narrow down what makes Mortal Kombat cool. The extensive blood and gore is what made MK special and different from the other fighting games, so taking that away from the game would be a really bad move. It is one of the reasons I don't like MK vs DCU.
Though Boon would like it to happen, I hope Ono is true about it not happening.
MK is also about gore, true. but it seems less important than i expected since lot of players play the game with (-900 - -900) blood off online or @tourneys. i know it makes the game-play a fraction faster but still its almost not noticeable. and it still looks as awesome to me.
they could make the fatality's like X-ray meets ultra style, just to bring the fatality part.

That the game happens or not doesn't bother me. But i wouldn't mind MK being a little less gory only to fit with a different type of game in a crossover.
