I literally lol'd when I read that XD

Personally I'm pretty excited for the Skarlet DLC. I don't think her design is any better or worse than any of the other MK females from this game, her attacks look cool (minus the blood projectile), her x-ray is sweet and I'm interested in seeing what her backstory is. Truthfully with the exception of Kenshi and Onaga, she's one of the only post MK3 characters I'm actually interested in.

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but I'm not all that impressed. Its just weird having a blood teleport. Makes me think this will lead into Meat. One thing I liked the look of is the teleport back stab.

Hell, if they can revamp Meat, I'd take him as well.

Her design and costume screams " Team hadn't learned how to make a good new character yet"

I am afraid the trend would continue for MK10.Hell Ashrah looks much better than this lame design.

well first off...it appears my thread about who would be chained in Kahn's Arena has been answered! kitana and probably tanya will be there but no one is in Skarlet's place. so with that said I can now breathe easy. lol.

anyway...I wonder if since Skarlet was a rumored character/glitch in MK2 they will make a klassic costume of her too? I mean? why not?! although I don't know how they would implement this cuz obviously if you download her they want to promote their primary design so if they include the klassic costume it may keep people from using the promoted design. still though...she does look amazing and seeing her in the klassic costume even tho it is an mk3 one would be very neat. regardless...still excited about her. she looks unique. I was worried her weapons would be mileena-like in terms of gameplay but they appear much different. I wonder if you use the Rainbow Kombat code if her blood moves will be Rainbow? lol.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Skarlet's design is meant as an inside joke.

During the revelations of female characters, there been one constant: fans whining about how the outfits make the characters look like sluts, skanks, whores, and also that it's impossible to fight in high heels.

And what did they do with Skarlet? They made her the least dressed of all female characters, and the biggest piece of clothing she has are her stiletto boots.

Doubt it. They probably came up with her design before we saw most of the females of this game. How long ago did we see that one mysterious leg.

A male ninja with blood powers would be perfect, i know there are already some ninjas but hell, for me this game is about ninjas, 2 shaolin monks and disturbed sorcerers.

I guess we will see skarlet somewhere around the 2021 mark. This is just getting silly...I don't even own a PS3 ...but I feel sorry for people that have to put up with this crap.

Now it's just sad and ridiculous...If true.

I don't know about Skarlett. I know it's just a trailer but I thought I laid out some ideas that I thought would be cool for her but to no avail. The blood themed specialty moves seems thrown together to me. Unless there's more to the character than was showcased, I think Skarlett will fall into the forgettable characters catergory in my humble opinion.

Also what's a major turn off for me is that costume she has. MK's female characters look to be inferior with the exception of Sonya Blade, Kitana & Jade. I would say her costume could look a lot better if she looked more like a fighter rather than a pole dancer with a turtleneck. I honestly can't even take her seriously the way she's presented. I'd just wish that some of the female characters wore more sensible attire in a fight rather than this "let me showcase my body, but hide my face theme" It's to say the female characters are only attractive if you put a paper bag over their head.

So far I like what we've seen of Skarlet, with the exception of her blood projectile maybe. Yeah it fits in with all of her other blood moves, but for some reason the projectile seems weird.

Either way, I'll be picking up this DLC as soon as it's available!
