I hope it will still let me play against people from other regions via invite.

I'll be honest on this online region lock stuff, if it prevents me from play against those on my Friend's list as well, I am not so sure I'll still pick it up. Huge blunder IMO if true.

Way I see it, they'd either have to retcon quite a bit of the story mode, with NRS's track record it wouldn't surprise me, or to keep it canon, they'd probably just have to have Jax and Sonya restore his humanity instead of Cyrax next game.

I'm kinda worried about region locking for the reason Karried mentioned. I'm gonna be seriously bummed if after 6 months the online rooms are ghost towns.

What will the regions be? East coast, west coast, midwest, south?

IMO, they should give you the option of playing people from your region or worldwide if you wanna risk the lag, like Mario Kart.

Ugh that sucks, why make it region specific exclusively, have it as an option so the player can choose...options don't hurt or frustrate anyone.

If they don't give us the option to change it then it should at least be priority, if it can't find anyone in your region then it goes to the next closest....... options would be best though.

I think you can invite people, just that you are in a spasific region lock when searching for games. I think thats what he means.

No thats an accuret quote, what it means is the its more then one person. Hes saying in other words that its showing all the people involved are down grading there charactoristics. Its like a status of someone being downgraded.

I hope they'll change there mind on the region locking.

Sooo much freaking love for Sonya in Brazil. That's were she was first revealed so many months ago in a playable trailer that showed her gameplay. Hector even said that if we wanted to see her Fatality we would have to buy the game. Argh.
