It should always be assumed people are going to use any and all resources to get what they want. Someone if not all had to know about this information being present in the demo. Releasing it and getting "butthurt" about it afterwards is "an act of bad character".

I honestly feel kinda bad for what happened and that I looked up the story mode leak. Interesting that Hector and the gang are not sure about whether or not Cyber Sub is coming back.

Considering that a good portion of the fanbase thinks that Sub-Zero has been RUINED FOREVER, yeah. I can see why they wouldn't be sure about bringing him back in cyborg form.

Personally, I think it's awesome. Mostly because I'm sick of Sub-Zero. He's like my fourth favourite character. And I'm totally and completely sick of him.

Especially his stupid mask that he wears EVERY SINGLE GAME.

I wouldn't have a problem with him wearing the same mask EVERY SINGLE GAME if the mask he wore EVERY SINGLE GAME wasn't stupid.

Anyways, I think NRS should've been more cautious, especially something they've been working on for over a year. If that simply means no demo, it shouldn't have been available.

You're kidding, right? NOBODY has changed more than Sub-Zero in the MK universe.

He's been a traditional ninja. He was totally unmasked in MK3 with a different outfit. He had his Grand Master look in MK:DA. He had his vastly different shredder-armor in Deception. He's gone from black-haired to white-haired, normal arms to frozen arms, pupils to pupil-less, normal face to scarred. His alt in Deception, with the shaved head and ponytail and the thick robes, was totally different than anything he had before.

Who else has changed so drastically? Sub-Zero is the one character that has changed the most!

The X-box exclusive content better not be MK related. Sure, I am excited for Kratos but if the x-box people are getting extra MK stuff, it wont be fair at all.

This could of been avoided, Kratos should of been DLC exclusive for PS3 therefore those who want him get him and those who don't, don't.

My only complaint on sub-zero was his sub par and uninspired outfit, not who he was as a character, his story arc etc.

I'd rather it play out the same than be insulted that 13 years of Sub history has now been erased.

So glad you posted this response cause I was about to say something similar, but its late and I don't feel like it lol. But yeah, Subzero has had a different look in almost each game. He had his mask off in mk3, umk3, mkt, mk4, and mkda.

Sorry to drag Dirty Sanchez off to the wambulance but Every demo on earth gets code dumped and its not always or even the majority of the time fans of the software in question. Hackers dump code, its what they do for a living and for fun. Adapt or die, its not like the game needs to make reference calls to the krypt data or the story line if the game is coded properly. Erase that shit and type whatever you have to do to close it properly. problem solved. If its really that essential then remove all calls to all characters not playable in the build.

Maybe they should've spend less time worrying about making a game that's central appeal is secrets and shallow fucking shock moments and more time making the story good via actual good writing. Then when everything leaked, it wouldn't have been a big deal.

No matter if you like it or not... At least MK has a big storyline compared to some other games of this genre.

The story-mode looks big and with a lot of interaction... Back then in MK1-MK3 we had norhing besides endings... And people scream wow awesome story telling
