I would pay to switch this giant android turd retro cyber sub for an alt. for anyone. Hell id take another Mileena over this. I just hope this is not the last DLC..but ive got a bad feeling.

I guess people hoping for Cyborg Smoke and UMK3 Scorpion got....the cold shoulder..

Ugh.

Just as unnecessary and boring as another "Ninja Skin Costume" would have been....specially another annoying Scorpion one.

The Good:

1) I absolutely love MK3 Unmasked Sub-Zero (with the sexy red scar). So, I'm happy they gave Subby his unmasked costume, specially considering how very unimpressive both of his costumes are in this new game.

2) I had low expectations and absolutely 0% of hope to see something new, interesting and different.

The Bad:

1) This is NOT the same original MK3 unmasked costume. It's an ugly replicate of the MKU ninja outfits (with ugly black shirt, ugly ninja gloves, and ugly overused loin-cloth included). nothing of this look (besides the head) is similar to the classic MK3 Subby.

2) Retor Cyborg-Sub-Zero????.....seriously? Everything about this one sucks.

3) Since Scorpion wasn't revealed, it is still very likely that we will keep seeing more annoying, predictable and overused costumes for the rest of the ninjas. Ugh.

4) Everything else.

The unmasked Sub-Zero actually looks pretty awful, and I don't play enough with either character to care. Won't be getting this.

Why does his voice still sound like he's wearing a mask? Also, notice how Cyber Subs robot rastas freeze in the air when he does his ice grenade-winpose, lol.

I mean a Retro, Klassic Cyber Sub-Zero costume? Seriously? He is a 'new' character technically to this game! He shouldn't have a klassic costume! It's ridiculous...

Especially when Mileena (MKII), Scorpion (MK3), Sonya (MK3) and other deserving characters need a retro costume... I dunno what to say.

On the otherhand, I'm liking the unmasked MK3 Sub-Zero..

Y'know, I actually support a fake retro Cyber-Sub. Back in the day, the topic of what he'd be like if captured and were in the game did come up every so often, and well, here it is. I'd like the same to be done for Skarlet, if all we're going to do is toss out pallette-swaps.

But "unmasked UMK3 sub?" That bothers me. This is NOT the traditional unmasked Sub we know from MK3, and I consider it an insult to our intelligence to try and advertise it as such. Rather than this, I'd have honestly preferred they just slap the mask on him and sell him along with the other six who'll come out eventually. If you're going to do something, do it right.

Disagree, both designs just don't work (Too much 90s action figure crap going on). They should have gone from something closer to the MKDA design.

And yeah, of course he's not "sexy" anymore. Which character actually is? Besides, I don't think the most powerful computer in the world is capable of rendering a jaw like John Turk's...

I play as neither characters, so the idea of missing out on two costumes doesnt bother, especially since I actually prefer the costumes they already have than these two. Bit odd though why they only chose Sub-Zero, I would have thought they'd have included MK3 Scorpion in there too just so fan boys would want both suits.

Scarred Sub Zero is really cool.
How pointless is Klassic Cy Sub?

It wasn't needed at all. Not a big deal tho. I'm sure the more unique looking classics will be in a classic pack #2 sometime in the future.

This does almost give hope for DLC characters getting alternate costumes, if Cyber Sub-Zero is getting one. Bring on my Kenshi alt.
