It sounds like JUST the type of thing that NRS is doing with some of the characters. That said, I also bet that the squeals Skarlet made in the hacked Xbox video are her REAL VOICE.

NRS seems to be doing stuff with these lately-revealed characters (smoke, shang, rain, skarlet), just to piss us off.

As much as people seem to hate Shang's clown fatality, I like that they decided to it. I remember being so pissed when I first got MK vs DCU and saw that they had edited that fatality to happen off screen.

I wish he'd just turned into the Joker if they were going to do it that way.

Shang doesn't turn into weird versions of characters. He turns into EXACT DUPLICATES.

It would kick so much butt. The closest thing we've gotten to that is Tanya's MKD primary (which is absolute perfection), but, its still not a dress.

A dress would be highly impractical unless it had slits up both sides almost all the way to the hip.

I believe he is another member of the Special Forces named James Masters. He's believed killed in a dramatic way during Scorpion's portion of the story(why we don't get to see him) and he's the one Sonya is most shaken up about losing during the end cutscene in story mode. In actuality, he was chosen by Fuujin to be his, well, Chosen One, and he'll show up in the next game using a style akin to Krav Maga and pulling a combat knife during some combos. He'll have wind based powers as well as a grab where he stabs the opponent in the gut(several times on an enhanced). There'll be contention between him and Johnny for Sonya's affections, but he'll ultimately find love with Tanya, who he'll bang into becoming a good guy.

That would be hot.

I just think her look is one of the best of all the female characters and I just know her story is going to be epic, especially if they take my suggestion from the original post and use that. I'm sure her moves will be on par with the rest of the cast, as they seem to have had no trouble balancing everyone else. (or so it seems at this point in time).

Not at all. I tried to like Shang. His old man alt is nothing short of amazing. His moves are super powerful, especially when he gets the damage boost from morphing, but every time I look at him, all I can see is that f***ing clown. As I said before, it's like being served a plate of the most delicious food you've ever tasted, but with a dead cockroach in one corner. I just can't get past it. It is pathetic, in the literal sense that it should inspire pathos in whoever hears my story, not in the derogatory sense I'm sure you ignorantly intended.

No, it's exactly like having a roach on my plate. I don't have a gun to my head to eat the meal either, though it's something I've been longing to partake of for years.
