Not hard to do, either.

I wish the non enhanced version did damage as well, a modest amount (like Scorpion's spear), both moves serve a similar purpose of setting you up for a free combo or hit.



lol that's boss, I must say it's the most interesting job, so many strange people. I love it, but it's super far from home, barely making any money How'd you like it for those years? I've been doing it for like a month.

I noticed that too I just assumed it was because most of my combos were more special move reliant than with other characters.

I spent 2 hours in training mode trying to get some good combos down with rain. So far I have a couple of 8-10 hit combos with/with x-ray (damage is anywhere from 24-45%. x-ray on the 45%er of course. I think that he's very fun to use and not stiff or slow at all like some ppl have said. Def. Faster than sub-zero.

I KNEW he had his Super Roundhouse (ermmm Super Kick) in his X-Ray. Someone owes me an apology!

He's so much fun to play as. Love him.

He's an interesting character, but I find him a little difficult to use.....maybe an hour more time in practice and I'll get the hang of him.

I do like the fact that you can chain stuff on to the end of his X-Ray...

I *really* wish it already did the meager amount of damage it does when Enhanced,
and that the EX would drain a bar of super.
I'm a bit bummed Rain can't do that, as he relies so much on good combos this time.



It was, by far, my favorite (pre-graduation) job.
It would be hard to go back to now after making what I do,
but I absolutely enjoyed it at the time.
You'll get lots of time to listen to music,
so make sure you have a lot of great albums

Alright, so I've been playing with rain for a few hours now, love the character but I find most of his juggles hard to connect, so I can't combo for shit. I love the teleport and was surprised to see he has a buff.

Kenshi is still my favourite of the DLC characters.

I've noticed something weird. When I did the Bubble Burst fatality on Kratos, he doesn't suck in the water or expand

Kratos doesn't show the weaknesses or flaws of a mere mortal when you murder him. He takes it like a man.

Which is... kinda dumb.

It does require some very specific timing.
I had to practice landing it after the Bubble, Lightning and Roundhouse,
but I've gotten it down pretty well now.

Just go into Practice Mode with infinite meter, and try a few times until you get a feel for the timing/

Make sure to practice with him a bit in the Training Room,
as it takes a bit to get the timing down on some moves (the Roundhouse after the Lightning, for example).
And as mentioned earlier, it may not be possible to connect with the Roundhouse after the Bubble

I always practice some before going through the Ladder and such. Trying to get a feel of the character, how he's like and what moves are good to combine etc. ^^

i spent some time testing rain out in practice mode and ladder earlier. i like him, but i find it kinda hard to juggle with him. my combos usually involve hitting the enemy a couple times, roundhouse, then uppercut.

i was a bit disappointed when i managed to roundhouse kick an enemy, hit them, lightning them, and roundhouse again. instead of flying to the other side of the screen again, they just flew across the screen and landed. guess i wont be able to do that near infinite juggle if seen done in mkt :/

So I downloaded my Rain and as I expected .................. he's FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!! I mean the trailer got my hyped last week BUT having him my hands(lol) only made it more clear that Rain was NEVER truly a horrible character he just needed some special attention and updated suaveness to him! His moves are sexy and the super roundhouse kick looks better than I thought it would. Has some cute elemental colors and properties to it! The updated mind orb(water bubble) is more useful this time around for me at least! The lightning strikes are frikkin superb especially the enhanced version!!! All around and I'm not just saying this because he's my favorite character but........ he's my favorite in the game!!!! *bows to NRS* Well worth the wait!
