Outworld merging with Earthrealm is pretty much the best thing they could do at this point. If you're going to nullify everything that's happened over the past 14 years with a "reboot", you'd better be willing to do something drastic.

I personally enjoyed the inclusion of Orderrealm and Chaosrealm and would like to see them expend on both in later games (because one game isn't enough, obviously). I can live without Edenia though simply because it never interested me.

Seido and Chaosrealm, easily. I'd actually set things up as Seido being the major threat to Earthrealm due to the strict sense of order bordering on fanaticism; representatives such as Hotaru could see Earthrealm's very existence as offensive as Chaosrealm's, and decide to occupy it. Or, Earthrealm could be the staging ground for a power struggle between the two realms.

The Heavens themselves are also an intriguing possibility. Gods gone rogue but not damned like Shinnok, perhaps? The Elder Gods deciding to wipe the universe clean and start over, or some such thing?

Seido and Chaos

Havik and Hotaru have the potential to have a rivalry as big as any. Seido itself can have an internal struggle with the resistance. Thisch can further be fueled by havik thus turning seido further on chaos, with having being a catalyst in the resistance rising, once they are the bigger force, he could sabbotage them so Hotaru would rise to prevent victory thus more chaos.

Eventually Seidan guardsmen and the resistance would be opposed to havik whom starts crap with everybody.

Ive been Jacked for these two since I found out about the reboot.

I would also like to know more about the labelled "Quan Chi's Realm" which never made sense to me when I seen the concept art. I wondered why there was no Kamidogu from that or Veaternus or Zatterra (spelling on the latter two)

Id love for Earthreaqlm to lose and Become Part of Outworld aswell. Instead of climactic events building and building so "omg we saved earthrealm AGAIN", we would get something of a long lasting campeign of separated struggling, dirty, warn down earthrealm warriors making a real underdog effort like beaten exiles making an attempt at the king to win their realm back. This could progress good and bad over a few main acts. Much more interesting.

I think a remake of MK4 would be a great time to showcase the Heavens as an actual realm/location for battles. I've already been saying for months that MK4 is the game that needs remade the most because it has so much potential and yet is so empty of detail and in need of fleshing out...

...but the beginning of Shinnok's war where first Tanya helps him invade Edenia, and then after throwing Sindel and Kitana in a dungeon, he and Reiko immediately head for Heaven and start slaying gods...that exists entirely in backstory form, we didn't get to see ANY of it, and it's the coolest fucking part of that story!

That and the concept of the dead rising from the grave and/or flooding out of Hell to invade the realms of the living en masse in general is the most hardcore mental image and we never actually got to see it and that's just not fair.
As for why not every realm has a Kamidogu...It's probably simply that there's no real tie between the Kamidogus and the realms they're hidden in, it just happened that when it broke, there were 6 pieces, so they picked 6 random realms to hide them in. Maybe those 6 realms became the most important or most powerful ones as a result of having Kamidogus hidden in them and that's why nothing interesting ever happened in Vaeternus or Zaterra.
If Quan Chi does have a realm of his own, it's probably just some empty pocket dimension he found and claimed where he hides his Deadly Alliance fortress away in privacy.

i personally like the idea of the vampire realm or zaterras past and chaos and order could be good if as someone said the characters become more important i dont hate charactors from 4-7 but most are less interesting to me besides a select few like quan chi kenshi, fujin nitara if she gained more specials and some others

Every realm, with the exception of Chaos and Order, have their significance in the MK universe because each realm has presented characters (some more than others) that are iconic to the game. Obviously, Earthrealm and Outworld are the two main realms since earth has remained unconquered and most of the threats towards earth come from Outworld. The Netherrealm is another realm that I find very significant, again given the characters and the threats (Shinnok).

Having said that, what I always liked about MKA was the fact that it wasn't all about Earthrealm anymore. Even though it was about the prevention of Armageddon (thus for the sake of all realms), most focus was on Edenia and the Edenian rulers and heroes.

So, in the upcoming game the focus should largely be on Earthrealm and Outworld, followed by Edenia. Realms such as Zaterra are not as significant given the fact that they are long conquered and practically extinct with little to no resistance for goals of conquering it back.

Chaos and Order realm are not significant at all, especially for this game's plot. They have presented characters that are comical at best and have not presented anything that would make their existance significant in the MK universe. Should they be given more significance in future games? Sure, as long as we forget characters such as Darrius and shit like that and come up with DECENT characters this time.

I agree with remaking mk 4 and fighting in the heavens just one major problem. Two people fighting to the death in "Heaven" might push alota peoples buttons. I know that sounds perpostirous in a game where you dismember your oppents and fight as half naked women.

But I dont see it happening as awsome as it would be. The only way it would work if they make their heaven unlike most religions (christianity in particulare) but man I would love that so much, heres for hopeing.

I would like to see this space realm vecataria so,mthin or other. Zaterria and the vampire realm merged with outworld but id like to see them as territories or islands. At least to fight in.

Question about Vampires in mk I know Knitara is one. But i remeber reading somewhere the tarakatans are like a type of vampire but i cant find anything about it now. I know their inspiratin was nosferatu, but does anyone know anything about this or did I just read some bogus fan fic.

MK's religious mythology is already completely different from Christianity.

They don't even call it "Heaven", they call it "The Heavens" plural or, in MK4, "The Eternal Palace". They have not one God but a pantheon of glowing dragons who live outside spacetime, and a second pantheon of lesser gods with element powers who live in the Heavens and guard each realm. There's nothing saying they have to make it look like clouds and angels with harps. Making it look like Mt. Olympus or Valhalla makes more sense given the context. In fact, they've done concept art for a Heaven stage before, in the MKDA Krypt, and it was just a fancy senate building for the gods. That MK4 stage where you're surrounded by the giant blue faces of the Elder Gods might ALSO be set in The Heavens.

I think it should be Outworld vs. Earthrealm again. Shao Kahn took over the other realms right?

I liked Edenia, but since Kahn made that part of Outworld I don't know if we're gonna see that back. (was the desert in Edenia?)

Realm living in complete order or complete chaos don't work and make no sense.
Chaosrealm could have some potential as part of Outworld, but they should really change that name. Maybe Orderrealm could be part of old Edenia, but again, change the name.

Netherrealm should stay.

Never seen any pics of the heavens arnt there like clouds and stuff in one of the mk vs dcu ending with the elder gods. I dont imagine there would be angels and harps and that jazz but I do imagine there would be clouds, sommthing at least reminicint of the chritian view of heaven. Only time will tell, Im really curious as to how it will be designed if ever.

As far as we know, then yes, the desert is a part of Edenia that has now been merged with Outworld, also known as Jade's Desert.

I think they should should merge Chaosrealm and Orderrealm into one. The idea of Chaos fighting Order is cool but did they really need to create two separate realms to do it?

If it was one realm then the Order side could pretty much completely dominate it. They force the entire realm into an orderly almost fascist like state. Meanwhile there are a small group of rebels who believe in inciting chaos and anarchy and challenging the orderly rule.

Havik could be one of the rebels who escapes the order authorities and flees the realm and the order side chases after him.

I like the idea of the realms of Chaos and Order merged into one and two nations fight each other. Except in that realm, one warrior intends to put balance on both realms. The only people that'll stand in his way are: Havik & Hotaru.

I wish there are more realms out there besides:
- Earthrealm
- Outworld
- Edenia
- Netherealm
- Zaterra
- Heavens

More Vaeternus. Maybe there can be a realm where Egyptian-like warriors exist there.... those that control the balance of time and space. There names would be based on Egyptian gods. Ex. Anubis.
