Yea there are some serious surprises. Although the voice alone does not tell us about the nature of the character. Not to mention that really interesting one found in the "dnu/" link. Has me prettty excited.

I'm guessing that they wanted to give the losers a bit of a handicap to mix it up a bit, and maybe bring them out of dead last.

Wow I'm steering way clear of that. Exciting as it may be, I don't think I want any big spoilers at the moment. Let it come progressively.

Holy shit...are they actually trying to make Shao Kahn....LOOK like Shao Kahn?!

Fucking MK team and their constant need to reinvent the wheel. You know why Ryu looks exactly the same in every Street Fighter? Because it WORKS.

If you wanna play around with looks, that's what alt costumes are for.

meh...the ranking system is there so that the most popular characters get new renders and while mileena is no1 and shao kahn are the last ones we still get a render of those 2...a new render of scorpion!!! omg how exciting....gimme a break

That's not true, the rankings are supposed to control when each character's 6 locked buttons at the bottom of the page are unlocked (and Scorpion and Sub-Zero got their first four before the rankings even started). The renders are just display fluff, they're free to change those whenever they like.

Shoa Kahn's new render looks really good, Im quite pelased with it. like the battle scar effects etc too.

Scorpion, well the render is good but Meh he doesnt look much different than we've seen him before.

Seriously dunno why they changed Scorpion's render... Maybe this is the final render and the one before was just a place holder at first because they weren't finished.

But it hasn't changed much EDIT Well WTF?Does Scorpion has 3 swords now or did NRS did a mistake?

So glad they changed Kahn's render, yes! He looks way more like his original form now, seems like NRS are listening. Or perhaps, some renders have just been placeholders until the better ones are finished?
