Wow, I was a fan of the old render, but after viewing both renders in a side-by-side comparison, the level of detail on the new Kahn has improved TENFOLD. There's a major difference and it really shows that NRS is really putting a lot of thought and care into this title. A little TLC goes a long way if done correctly.

I noticed Kahn, from the old render, looks a bit out of shape... I don't know maybe my eyes are deceiving me. In the new image you can see the level of work and detail done to his abdomen region, it really puts him back into shape as our ominous overlord.

The helmet has also improved greatly. I much prefer the Samurai style over the "stone-haircut" style he had in the previous build. The style just looks more traditional to what he normally wears in previous titles. Basically, I think it looks more Kahn again.

On a final note, I like the little touches of detail made to the character. The old model had a bit of a clean and pampered body, almost reminiscent of a baby's bottom. As crow mentioned, he now has all these scars while maintaining a strong and omnipotent stance. Someone of his caliber should have blood and sweat running down his body. Really, what's a ruler of realms without a few battle-scars, right?

The Scorpion render needs some Baseball jokes ASAP

Khan's looking so bad-ass that I'm barely bothered by another motherfucking Scorpion update.

The intimidation factor is back, and it's been missing from what we've seen in the past. Plus he got a tan, which is always good. I'm digging this new look, interesting mixture of old and new, and I gotta say I'm liking the glowing red eyes from behind the mask - something I've been wary of since E3.

Does Scorpion still have 2 swords on his back as well as the one in his hands?

Beautiful!! This is the Emperor we know and love. NRS are the top company right now IMO. They're listening to what we want and delivering top notch content. I love being proven wrong when I say there will be no Mortal Monday.

At least in the renders. In gameplay I think I've seen him using his back swords and them actually moving to his hands, but I'm not sure.

While I didn't have much of a problem with that other design for Kahn, by the Emperor of Man this new render is AMAZING. I feel like I might actually be intimidated by Kahn this time around

While this render of Shao Kahn is badass, you guys aren't realizing that this is just the cut-scene model from the very first trailer.

Maybe they have changed the in game model, don't get me wrong, or let's not forget the possibility of it being an alternate costume.

So a poster on another board found some convincing audio files online. They appear to be legit...would have to be expertly done fakes. I do not want to post a link because they appear to have been acquired in a fishy manner. NR and WB will not be pleased if this is the real deal. The links contain character voices from the intros to fights and a lot of the new stage music. IT also contains voice clips from the main announcer. Lets just say it reveals characters, stages, music, features, and modes.

It looks real as we have heard some of the intros already, but they could have ripped those from released videos; who knows whats going on here,

Btw, is everyone starting to feel like the MK team is really listening to us? I mean, I don't want to imply that they've ignored us, but it's just more obvious.
