i only watch the characters i have no real interest in(ill still do them all once the game is out though)

Tanya has on a different outfit in Goro's ending. She also has her hair braided.
Maybe it's just an old concept, or maybe she might get an alternate.

Well, clearly neither Shinnok or Goro's ending will be canon, so doesn't matter...

Goro, Shinnok and Mileena's endings are the ones that I believe won't be canon. The others have connections between then and some even with the Story Mode. I hope they're at least kinda canon.



Oh, and if Jax's canon then Erron's isn't. So... Jax killed Erron but he got shot in the chest and dies.... as in Sonya's ending? FUCK THIS IS MORE COMPLEX THAN JAREK/JAX/SONYA'S MK4 ENDINGS

I think Mileena's will be atleast the clone getting the memory part, that way they can bring her back

I don't think any part of those three endings are canon except for Erron's origin. If Jax is going to die again, it'll actually happen in story mode.

lol At people thinking arcade endings will have a lot of merit next go around. I highly, highly doubt it.

The only things they took from MK9's were part of Johnny's, Sektor's and a little bit of Smoke's. Out of 30 something characters, that's hardly anything to blink an eye at. I think they'll follow that trend. This isn't the old timeline anymore where they set a lot of stuff up through endings, now a lot of these are just what-if's.

Well, about half of the characters in MK9 died, so them endings are hardly to take canon.

And I know that NRS are well-known to forget they own endings, but this is much less "I beat final boss and then..." and more "what about me after the end of Story Mode".

Even in MKDA we won't have so many endings like that...

This time there's less contradiction between the story mode and endings so it's reasonable to think they might have more merit.

I think Takeda is hoping to be in Jacqui's end, but that's just a hunch.

Each game has taken slight elements from the previous game's endings, regardless if those endings had become entirely canon or not.
